New Dotp 2013 expansion on November 7th (boros+simic)

I haven't seen this announcement posted anywhere else up here.

Basically, on November 7th there will be a new dotp2013 expansion pack with simic + boros decks. There's a protean hulk in there, but I don't see any beautiful combos!

Simic Deck actually has Momir Vig, Simic Visionary (along with several cards from my Momir Vig EDH deck)!
I am most pleased!

However, I would much rather have Gisela in the Boros deck than Basandra

So are there only two new decks, or do we only know of these two of however many more will be in the expansion? The article makes it seem like there is more to come.

It's pretty obvious that decks for the other three Gatecrash guilds will be included in the expansion. And, like the Return to Ravnica expansion, they probably won't give us any clues about those guilds' new mechanics or include any new cards. Still, new decks to play with are always a good thing.

So is this going to be another one of those "Pay as much as you paid for the game to unlock 5 new decks!" deals? I really hope not but I doubt Wizards will give us 5 new decks for free.

Also, has there been any new unlocks for the last 5 decks on the game (Izzet, Rakdos, etc)?

Huh, so it really is just the Boros and Simic decks in this pack. I'm guessing the other three will be in a separate one? Or another two, then the last guild plus something else?

There's already a B/W deck in the game, so Orzhov might just get shafted when they finish up with a gruul+dimir deck pack.

That does still leave black short by one monocolor deck though, which irks me to no end.

All I have to say is, with this deck pack only having 2 decks in it, it better be pretty cheap.

Though I'll be getting it no matter what price it is, since it has my home guild, Boros, in it.

Not only are new decks always fun, but simic decks are always fun. >=D

The game and expansion are cheap as dirt, it's hard to argue that it's not all worth it. At the end of the day, it's way cheaper than many video games on the market. Video game pricing is slowly and slowly starting to make more sense.

So it's 240 Microsoft Points ($3), compared to the $5 I just paid for the other Return to Ravnica guild decks. A bit disappointing, would have made more sense at $2, but like I said, I'll be getting it either way. I'd probably have paid $3 just for the Boros deck.

That is cool.
It's a shame there's no Gravecrawler or Havengul Lich to really abuse him,
but maybe one of those will be a promo unlock?
