Cube is super fun. I'm glad they did it... I cast a turn 2 Eldrazi 4 games out of 6 in my last draft by playing a turn 2 Channel Every time was instant concession. I got my opponents only white source once, and then he "miracle" the Terminus the next turn and conceded because he didn't have white mana. Channel is stupid in the right deck in this format.

It's so much fun. I've 3-0'd the last 2 with bant durdle 5 drops.dec. (Tamiyo, Gideon, Plow Under, Primal Command, Thragtusk, Mirari's Wake, Route, Baneslayer Angel, Treachery, they're pretty interchangeable)

I did get to Balance after Ultimating Tamiyo with preordain, cryptic command in hand with Venser/Karakas going on as well (Mirari's Wake in play also)

I also played a guy who went turn 3 Eureka into Akroma+Emrakul and I dropped Tamiyo, Gideon, Treachery, and Karakas (into Fact or Fiction during his EoT from my newly untapped lands) and he proceeded to complain about me doing unfair things.

edit: another funny story. Guy goes turn 3 tinker into blightsteel, I have 3 lands in play. I play lotus cobra, flooded strand into tropical island floating UU, tap my 2 other lands and bounce blightsteel colossus with cryptic command.

I lost a game going turn 1 Sol Ring Mox Emerald Mox Pearl Garruk Relentless into Harmonize the next turn : /.

Apparantly Black Lotus, Mana Vault, Sun Titan into Mind Twist for the next turn is better than that.

Opponent Eurekas into Simic Sky Swallower when I have a handful of removal. I'm dead onboard and miracle topdeck my 1 Terminus. One-outer. No other card in my deck to deal with a big shrouded creature. I go on to win.

The only other cool thing that happened in a different game was I cast Dark Ritual, then Yawgmoth's Will, then Dark Ritual again, and was about to Tendrils of Agony from my graveyard for a 16-point life swing when he conceded. It wasn't even a storm deck!

i would cry if i put akroma and emrakul into play on turn 3 and lost. but that's cube for ya lol -- i remember in an IRL cube, on the play, i went turn 1 swamp, mox, dark ritual, bloodline keeper. my opponent goes red mox, wall of roots, and plays turn 2 olivia voldaren with multiple black sources....never been more salty than that moment right there.

there aren't enough IRL cubes with channel/eureka/natural order. they make cubing so much more ridiculous.

Heck yeah. I even got off the turn one Mox Diamond - Channel - Emrakul once. That still doesn't top the game where I topdecked Channel with a hand of Black Lotus, Tooth and Nail, Sundering Titan, Blightsteel Colossus, Emrakul.

Or the game (with a different deck) in which I cast turn three Eureka, dropping Emrakul, Blightsteel, Primeval Titan, and Woodfall Primus.

That's not in the Cube. Then again, neither is Fireball.
