How good is the average case scenario of having half of your opponent's lands phase out the turn after this is played (turn n +1) as well as turns n + 3, n + 5, etc.? Just trying to think outside the box. Spreading Seas, which saw a lot of play in UB control a couple of years ago, also comes to mind.
Maybe decent in multiplayer or edh cubes (but I prefer it in mono blue constructed edh). This thing is good for hamstringing a couple choice, mono-colored opponents until you can establish your own board presence. I think with majority of cube decks ending up bi or tri colored, this thing's full potential isn't well supported.
It's hard to say how crippling this can be without trying it first hand over a number of games. If you have one, it's probably worth trying out. I'd be keen to hear about it.
But this card does seem somewhat interesting...nice that it does hit Alpha duals and shocklands. I'll keep an eye out for this card and might try it out if I get my hands on one.
Mana disruption in my blue?

I feel compelled to repeat everything I hear
"Personally I love high-riak, low-reqars gambles. Life's best with a decent amount of riak. And f*** reqars."

I agree...and I do.
