Found this guy while looking for hidden gems for my peasant cube. I figured he could be a way for blue to tutor/cheat in one of the C/U Eldrazi or one of many utility creatures with a unique type (Assassin for Nekrataal, Ooze for Acidic Slime, etc).
I think it's probably way too slow for most cubes, but I wanted to make a thread anyway because someone else might find a way to break it.
I can't remember if Peasant was C/U or just cards under a certain price, but a gem I recently came across if you're feeling like Oath is Proteus Staff. It's like a Polymorph on a stick, and with enough token generators you've got a vintage oath deck at a much more reasonable speed. Upside is that Proteus Staff also works on your opponent's creatures, so you can tuck a tinkered target if you're in trouble.

I use to cruuuuuush with this thing in Prismatic Singleton. I would only play 1-2 creatures, so it was a virtual Natural Order. I could see this playing a similar role in a control deck, namely an artifact-based deck or even a Sneak Attack/Eldrazi deck. It might just be a hair too slow/fragile, but I am willing to be proven wrong.
Ahh memories. I remember us using it early in our career when onslaught first dropped, and trading a dude for his foil he opened in a tournament pack. (i miss those so much)
It is essentially an overpriced NO that can block for a turn, but in blue.

Certainly a very jolly effect, but the tutored for creature will effectively be a 6-drop. Agree that it is probably too slow.

This card looks a lot better then the Shapeshifter. Abusable Oath-style or just chaining CIB effects. But probably a bit too slow though still.
