Probably Dimir- the Orzhov are usually more ornate than that, with lots of gold.

That looks like art for a kill spell, or maybe a new assassin creature?

I am surprised these keep being made, I still see M12 battle packs still at my Wal-Mart and Target.

These are such junk. But I assume they are easy sales fodder to people who don't know much about the game looking to give a gift to someone who does play.

If the "decks" in the battle pack had a rare, then it would be worth getting. As it is you just get 2 uncommons, some lands and commons. And they seem fixed for each guild.

Question is if the Gravity Pack lottery would be better than these.

It's meant to be a variant of Sealed with more consistently focused card pools, not something like an Intro pack.

That chick looks Orzhov. Her armor doesn't look Dimir or Rakdos.

While the new Orzhov theme does have gold, it is downplayed here because she is an assassin.

assassin looks similar to the dude on assassin's strike. clearly not related to rakdos, i'm guessing dimir since it looks nothing like "The Cozen"

Most certainly a Dimir Assassin and almost a dead ringer compared to this assassin in the old Ravnica Style guide. The giveaway is that unique half-mask.

Anywhoos - At an MRSP of just $10, I'll say good value.

The LGS toes the line for the MRSP for the Booster Battle Pack but can't really with booster packs which have to go for $5 (likewise at other local stores here which may charge even more).

Good value considering the pack contains ;
• Two 20-card decks
• Two 15-card Gatecrash booster packs
• One Quick-play guide
• One Rules Insert

It's basically a glorified pack wars. You get regular pack wars and advanced pack wars for an average price.

The value is in the fun, there's no other reason to spend what boosters' cost.

The Battle Packs are just a nice way of killing time or showing a new player what Magic's all about without the need for a major investment. Nothing bad at all about them.

Cool! I like the art. I think the girl looks like a Dimir assassin but I could be wrong. The guy is definitely Boros though.
