Now that that's all settled, we need to balance this. One suggestion was to exile the creature card, and there are a few other extraneous suggestions as well. Both will be in the poll above. If you have a suggestion for another drawback or effect you'd like to add, post it in this thread.
We'll also be taking suggestions for names. Since this card started (way back when) as a Zendikar design, I think we should find a Zendikar-Fitting name. As always, please tumbs-up/thank the names you like.
It was at that moment that I realized: I'm kinda just making these things up. We can just write the rules the way we want them to work. People will have fun, and people will get it.

Also, the ability is already VERY powerful. Adding 'you may' just adds too much flexibility.
i disagree. i think it's necessary for the card to be any good. compare to other manlands: you aren't limited in how many activations you get and forced to activate every turn.
When I see Healing Salve, I'm often like "Oh girl, I wish I could turn every card into this." Thanks they removed the gain life part, otherwise this would have been broken.
