Choose Your Own Adventure Horrible Way to Die
A spooky Custom Card Creation Contest hosted by Clan Flamingo
Happy Almost New Year! To celebrate the year of '13, a rather superstitious number, we (read: you) are going to explore a haunted house. Here's how it'll work.
I give you the scenario and a number of choices (sometimes, infinite choices. this may end badly for me)
You choose your own path and make a card to show what you do
The cards go up in a poll for a votedown to the death
A proportion of the least-liked participants are killed in some horribly gruesome manner that is up to my discretion
The rest of participants survive... for now
This continues until everyone is dead
Sound fun? Okay! This is just the signup round, to gauge the popularity. But, even now, you're going to make a choice!
The Blind House. Sitting in the middle of the Blind Eternities, it's filled with the wretched refuse of countless teeming planes; deadly skeletons, giant spiders, zombies, ghosts and Urza-knows-what else. Nobody knows where it came from or why it's there. Some say it's a bit broken off Agyrem, Ravnica's Ghost Quarter, that broke off from Ravnica. Others say it is the final resting place of the passed sparks of Planeswalkers. Whatever it is, everyone stays the hell away from it.
Except you. You're adventurous, brave, courageous, daring, as well as bloody stupid. You're going to explore it and find out what's really up with that old mansion.
You 'Walk onto the bit-of-plane. It's just the wooded grounds and the huge haunted house and it is indeed very strange to be walking around on a bit of ground when the sky is a broiling mass of energy. There's also some strange music playing, but that might be your imagination. You're not here to observe the Blind Eternities though, you're here to explore a haunted house!
Only trouble is getting in. There's clearly the front entrance, and probably somewhere around the back. You notice there's also an open window on the second floor. Those are all probably rigged with some sort of horrible trap. You could always look for another way in, some kind of cellar door around the side...
Hmm... you'll have to think carefully about this one. Will you:
Knock the front door?
Enter via the back?
Go in through the window?
Search for a cellar entrance?
Basically, all you have to do for this round is just choose how you'll enter the haunted mansion. You don't have to design cards... yet.
As a side thing, if you want to design a card, you can design a card that represents yourself, the prodigal explorer! It won't affect anything but it can be a bit of fun, I s'pose.
Round 1 starts on the 1st of January, sometime. You can still join while Round 1 is in progress, but it's better to get started now (you don't suffer my eternal wrath, for one)
Yarn scans the building searching for a good entry point. If only there was a chimney to climb through, but alas! Christmas has passed. He chooses to climb through the window - a questionable classy way to enter.

I opened one last year, got two crap worldwake packs and 8x scathe zombies, which I promptly hid around my sister's apartment for her roommates to find. But, yeah, it was a piece of crap.
You, sir, have just won the internet. Congratulations.
