After having played a mono-blue control mirror where my opponent slammed down Leyline of Anticipation turn 0, I really underestimated how powerful the effect is. You can never tap out against that thing, or your opponent resolves something disgusting if he plays smart.
With a lot of control decks in our metagame, I wanted something that could keep permission-based decks on their toes (our control players tend to misplay...a lot), and having two Future Sight effects, acceleration, big creatures and your general being Vedalken Orrery is just too good to pass up.
How does one play this deck?
It's draw-go...in green. Seems silly, I know. You also have a Birthing Pod package if you need to start abusing your Raise Deads and ETB's. Flash in dudes, beat face - it's mono-green, with a twist!
Nuances of the Deck
-When Yeva is on board, refrain from playing creatures on your turn, especially when they have ETB's. Try to flash in creatures either during combat or at the end step of the turn before yours.
-If you want to have creatures on board as soon as possible, play around the player who you think is most likely to Wrath you.
-Skullmulcher and Greater Good are great cards to combat Wrath effects with. Flash in the Mulcher to eat your army when they're sure to die anyway.
-If you have a bunch of mana sitting around when your opponent Wraths you, you can float it to recast Yeva and begin the process of rebuilding.

-Keep in mind when you have Garruk's Horde[/card in play that a creature on top of your library also has Flash with Yeva in play, and can be especially effective at being a soft Standstill lock when you have Lurking Predators out. Your opponent will be dissuaded from casting a spell so that it doesn't trigger.
