My gut instinct tells me no, paying effectively 3 mana for this effect is too expensive. On top of that, the land doesn't come online until your next turn unless you're using it to hose a legendary land.
If you have a large Cube AND you're already running Vesuva AND you really want another copy of that effect, then maybe. It's a fun and flavorfully designed card, but I don't think the power level is there for most Cubes.
I'm thinking of putting this in my Cube. At the very least, it helps you cast a double/triple mana symbol card, acting like a ghetto Shimmering Grotto. At its best it is a second Cabal Coffers. I like the design and strategic implication of this land
It's a good card. I like it. It might have a room in larger cube if they are looking for these kind of effects. I don't think there's enough slots in smaller cube, though.
To be honest I'm not sure what kind of deck would even want this kind of effect.
I could see the benefit for a second Maze of Ith in some flooded decks. Some draw-go decks could potentially want a second copy of a Faerie Conclave or Mutavault. It also can turn itself into an Underground Sea, but for essentially three mana, I don't think thats a very valuable effect.
If it were to obtain the ability of Shelldock Isle then I would think about it. As it stands, I think its a pretty cool land, has some sweet art, and will never crack my cube.
Way to slow. Even if it didn't tap I wouldn't play it I think. But in the right deck it can be pretty good, just not good enough to be worth a cube spot.
When I see Healing Salve, I'm often like "Oh girl, I wish I could turn every card into this." Thanks they removed the gain life part, otherwise this would have been broken.
While I think this card may be eliminated by most I think it is due to narrowness, and not because "card X is better". As we get more interesting lands in the cube I could see this making it.
Also I run a more more unusual set of fixing lands like the bounce lands(I don't own original duals or fetches). So it may have more use for me.
Some day I think there may be enough good choices where some cubes support a land.dec and this will be the whip.
Possibly good if your support artifact.dec with workshop and the other double mana lands. But I am probably pushing it since you still need 2 and tap, plus actually drawing a good target for it.
As a lover of theatre, I enjoy the flavour of this card. It puts me in mind of the prologue to Shakespeare's Henry V, cramming the vasty fields of France into a wooden O.
In cube, I can only think of a couple of land cards where I would accept the tempo loss to gain a second copy, and the chances of both drafting and drawing the cards together are too. Slight to warrant inclusion.

Looking at Nof's list, theres only 2 lands strong enough to warrent the cost the effect comes with (Maze & Library) - Unplayable at any size.
It could be decent with cards like Ancient Tomb and Mishra's Workshop where it would be similar to Worn Powerstone. The Tomb damage would probably add up though.
Besides those two (Maze and Library), there are other lands worth copying that see play:
Volrath's Stronghold
Karakas
Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale
Mishra's Workshop
Ancient Tomb
Rishadan Port
Strip Mine/Wasteland
Bouncelands
Mishra's Factory/Mutavault/other manlands
...as well as other more generic lands like 5c lands/filters that help fix in 3+c decks.
While not good enough for inclusion, IMO, it is certainly interesting enough to keep it in mind (and on bench). The constructed applications alone should encourage people to pick these up (16 post, anyone?).

When Card X is narrow in exactly the same way that this card is, yet isn't good enough for Cube, then yes, we can use that comparison to rule this card out.
Sorry to reanimate this thread a bit, but i just can't resist. I want some recent feedback!
What do you guys of Thespian's Stage in today's powered environment? I see it play a bit in the most recent version of the MTGO Legacy Cube and it seems just fine in the right deck! Along with Dark Depths, it makes a sweet combo! I talked about it here yesterday in a thread where I pull out a link to a broadcast by Owen Turtlewald in which he crafts a really nice deck featuring Kiki-Jiki, Deceiver Exarch, Zealous Conscript, Thespian's Stage, Dark Depths, a pair of looters, artifact mana producer and Genesis Wave. Pretty much convince me. The meta isn't the same though, being mostly unpowered and combo oriented, but he went pretty good with it.
A Vesuva that can retarget!
Wacks legendary lands, too. Worth it?

Whether the land itself makes it into cubes, I'm unsure. I don't have anywhere close to the room to afford playing it, myself.
