It was at that moment that I realized: I'm kinda just making these things up. We can just write the rules the way we want them to work. People will have fun, and people will get it.

I like A a lot, but I voted for D because it looks more like the creatures its becoming are more CMC appropriate. Dragons just don't feel "CMC 2 or less" to me.
I think A and D are the clear leaders, but I like D a bit more. Not only does it fit the mechanics a bit more, but it looks more (B/W) and feels more like Zendikar.

"In the beginning, MTG Salvation switched to a new forum format.
This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."

I think D's the best here. The problems with A are 1) the blueness of the sky and 2) the fact that the depicted creature looks like it should have >2 CMC.

The former issue can easily be remedied by different cropping, as in the attached example. The latter issue, there's no hope for.

I'm just gonna ask this, because I don't see it - How is D a moor or roiling?
moor (mr)
n. A broad area of open land, often high but poorly drained, with patches of heath and peat bogs.
roil (roil)v.roiled, roil·ing, roils v.tr.1. To make (a liquid) muddy or cloudy by stirring up sediment. 2. To displease or disturb; vex: My roommate's off-putting habits began to roil me. v.intr. To be in a state of turbulence or agitation.
P.S. - A could be a drake or other flying black weenie. There are no birds for scale And it shows the land taking form in a way that is very much in-line with the visual style of the other man-lands of Zendikar.

The thing is, I'm assuming that most of these are pictures of after the roil and the entities that popped up.
