Hey guys, this is another Simic (:symug:) deck I've made. It's a really funny "combo" deck that tries really hard to win with Biovisionary. I chose to go the route of running basically every clone effect I could, along with a very light stax/protection suite (Frozen Aether, Propaganda) and some creature stealing effects. That way if I can't win via the Bioclone combo I can try to steal/clone whatever the biggest threat in the game is. My favorite game I've played with this deck (online) was against my own Zegana list (check it out in my sig), where I Corrupted Conscience'd a 25/25 Zegana and swung to win. So it actually is a fairly fun and semi-competitive deck that can win off of some nuts plays, and I hope you guys enjoy it!
After reading this some of you guys may be wondering about the Sun Quan, Lord of Wu, Rogue's Passage and the Deepchannel Mentor. These are all in the deck to act as Stolen Identity enablers. A lot of the time I can steal/clone a creature an opponent controls that either already has evasion, or just use one of these effects to give it evasion.
I've been wanting to build a deck similar to this. Looks like a lot of fun. I'm curious as to what its strengths and weaknesses are.
Suggestions:
Propaganda: I think War Tax would be better. It may require more of a mana investment on a turn by turn basis, but in the late game when the 2 mana restriction becomes less relevant, leaving mana open to activate it can mean even fewer attacks from your opponent.
Gilded Lotus: Never liked this card. By the time I have the mana to play it, I'm reluctant to spend another turn ramping when I can start doing something else. I'd cut it for an earlier ramp spell like Cultivate or Kodama's Reach.
Relearn/Call to Mind: While slightly more expensive, Archaeomancer and Mnemonic Wall seem objectively better for the reason of being a creature (can be cloned, trigger Momir, or at the least act as a random blocker).
EDIT:
Also, may I ask why you're running Arcane Denial instead of Hinder or Spell Crumple?

I personally am a big fan of Gilded Lotus, however I like your points on everything else. Will add. Thanks!

Thanks for pointing that out!
