Vote for the poem(s) you feel is the best (up to two). Remember to adhere to the "Honor Code" when voting.
While it is understood there is no absolute means to monitor the intent of a vote, we ask each PRC participant to exercise integrity when voting out of respect for the contest:
- Please give each poetry submission an equal opportunity in attaining your vote.
- Please read, or at least skim, all the entries before voting.
- Please do not vote for your friends just because they're your friends.
The Poetry Running Contest puts good faith in its participants to act in an honorable manner.
Contestants, remember, you are required required to vote (and you can't vote for yourself)!
Happy voting!

my mouth is full of winsome lies -
and eyes are full of death besides
but luckily the soul is wise -
it sees beyond my blindness and
forced failure makes a better guise,
so as i come again alive,
it feels like life's a decent plan
Given how often this request comes up, I'll consider working that into future versions of the PRC. I believe we'll call it the "Everyone wins!" rule, wherein everyone gains trophies at the same rate, so that no one can pass Preve's trophy count. Ever.
oh fine. I voted for Blippy. Niggling things I didn't like in each of the others.
Can I give others my trophies? I'll just give my trophies away, that would be nicer maybe.
Note: rereading my poem for this week I think it would've been clever to make the last word 'our selves' instead of 'ourselves'.
Second note: curious about how my next poem is going to be taken. Probably no way but you never know.

I liked Guilan's poem, and the final lines were gorgeous.
Yny though...jesus christ. One of the best poems I've ever read. Sincerely bleak, distinctly gothic, and simply inspired. "Pleas/For blood to quiet the gears..." I think I'd be upset if this poem didn't win.
I voted for Preve, mainly because it's rare that I see something so surreal that also resonates with me on such a level. I thoroughly enjoyed each of those poems, though

I thought it was unfair to all of us to comment, before the end of the contest, that I wrote the poem after a good friend of mine committed suicide.
