They did the same with SoK giving the card out a good 2 months before set came out

its a wizards' promotion. for each set, around this time, wizards gives stores a common that showcases a set ability to give to tgheir patrons.

Just as a disclaimer, I should highlight the fact that I'm in England and I have no way of guaranteeing that this is going on anywhere outside of here... Belgareth will hopefully be able to check on it, though. Basically we were handed these out for playing in the Store Championship event tonight. The owner had a stack of them, I'm not sure if they were intended for this purpose or if she just decided to appropriate them for that event. Oh, and, I'll try to get this scanned tomorrow if I can, but I can't promise anything as I'm at work.

As for the card, I certainly like it; the fact that suspended creatures get haste is a nice one.

Oh, and the art depicts the creature passing through a hazy blue barrier a lot like the one on that 'Mindstab Thrull'-esque art; this may be what suspend looks like on creatures in general.

If this is true I am really liking this mechanic. I can't wait to see a rare creature I can sing the doom song to while it counts down to beatdown.

Yeah, I can't really call fake because WotC does do that with sets. I remember when Guildpact was "in" for the rumor season, stores had copies of Blind Hunter. Later, Dissension was on the rise and they gave out Gobhobbler Rats. You can't truly doubt this because WotC has done it numerous times.

Great find Savia. I like this card. Not very powerful but very fun. Suspend will most likely be fun in casual. I'm hoping for some non-rare time counter removal.
Good luck to you and Belgareth on finding a way to show us a scan (even if Zontini is not my favourite artist...)

This gives more of an idea as to what the Destruction of Reality precon will do. Play a lot of Suspend spells and then blow up the world with some kind of board sweeper.

Neat card. Wonder if suspend will be limited to only permanents or not.

Sounds real to me. The name sounds like a blue illusion creature and names like this have been used before. P/t and cost sound realistic and so does the ability...if this is fake I will be very surprised.
