I'm looking for a sac outlet for a deck, and I'm looking at Volrath's Curse. Assuming it's on my own creature, I'm wondering if I may sac multple times in one turn to this ignore ability, or if I'm restriced to just once per any one turn.
You can sacrifice any number of creatures, to ignore the ability that many times this turn. Each extra sacrifice is redundant, but if your goal is just to sacrifice creatures, then this works as you want it to.

The antecedent of "this effect" in "ignore this effect" is the entire ability. If you're ignoring the effect, you're also ignoring the part that allows you to sacrifice a permanent. You can only do it once.
