Didn't screen shot my deck but it ended up being B/U with about 3-4 white cards in it. I beat a similiar deck then hit a Gruuls deck that I couldn't handle (if I had gotten the least bit lucky with draws I may have stood a chance).

The main thing that bothers me with this draft is why you decided to randomly move into black p1p5 for a death cult rogue. There was a perfectly fine pick in wasteland viper, and you weren't completely cut off from gruul later in the pack since charger and transport came later.

I won't get too far into it, but it looks like you ignored a pretty good Gruul/Simic deck that was being passed your way, especially by taking two marginal creatures over two Madcap Skills (p1p3 and p2p1).

The incoming signals in pack one were pretty crazy in this draft, so I'm not surprised you had trouble.
P1P2: Slaughterhorn - There's no need to switch guild when there's such a strong card in your own colours. P1P3: Madcap Skills - Shanktail is a great card, certainly, but not good enough to pass Madcap Skills. If you're in Red you take it over almost anything. P1P4: Disciple of the Old Ways. This pick isn't close - it's way ahead of Armoured Transport. Then it all goes a bit crazy, so I don't know whether or not you were right to move out of Gruul...

Green was very open for you.
We can all agree the Madcap was the choice over the Transport. In the next couple packs I would have taken the two simic fixers. You could have had a pretty lovely Simic splash Red deck for Madcap and a bunch of solid removal from pack 2. |

If you look at the number of late Slaughterhorns, it is realllllly clear that green was open. Also, there was an opening for Simic here. You had a Frilled Occulus you could have taken.
Then, another thing. No matter what your color scheme is, Gateway Shade will NEVER be the first card in a pack that you take. The better pick there would have been Ballustrade Spy.

Boy, I agree with everything you say here. I probably still would have taken Shanktail p3, but that's because I'd already be solidly gruul, and imo Gruul lives or dies on bloodrush tricks. So, the biggest things I see are the strange pick of Armoured transport, and then out of nowhere the Deathcult rogue, I wonder what the thought process was? I'm truly curious if I'm overlooking something.
