So this is my take on Ali Aintrazi's 5 color control (door to nothingness). I wanted it to be a little more agressive so I chose Unexpected Results to do one of two things:
A) Pump land out (on top of Farseeks)
2) Hit into a beast of a card that potentially can end the game (early game) or become a huge hassle to deal with (mid or late game)
This is what I've been able to come up with... but I was wondering if there are any other 1 of's I could use to potentially results into that is just a house.
Another issue I have is sideboarding, I'm pretty bad at it, so if there are any tips. I know the main issue is going to be quick aggro running me over asap.
And I've been testing out the deck so far, everything seems great against midrange and long game decks.
I like what you are on too here, I'm running the version with Onmi but more and more i feel as though i could just win if it was a big creature instead of Omni.
Why not detention sphere over O-ring?
You're not running to many sweepers, hows the match against aggro?
You don't seem to be running card draw, have you tried urban evolution? Its so good in a ramp deck.
i think i might try this with these changes:
-1 tyrant
-1 Serra Avatar
-1 Chandra
-2 Blind O
-2 O-Ring
-1 Dreadbore
-1 Door
-1 Clone
O-ring vs D-sphere was merely the fact that I don't have any D-spheres, but I'll look into getting those replaced asap.
The Reaver is an excellent suggestion, I'll drop Avatar for it when I pick one up.
The problem with doing 4 Verdicts is that you're bumping up the risk of Results-ing into it way too often to disrupt your own board. Vraska is in the list already.
I Like where you're going with Urban Evolution, though. I can see Blind Oblivion being moved to SB vs aggro in place of 2 Evos.
Actually now that I'm thinking about it, I might drop Verdict all together and put in an extra Eviction, hitting an untimely Eviction can be easily avoided by choosing a mode other than the board presence you have.

You can choose to do nothing with unexpected results, not ideal though obviously
Next time read the whole OP, I'm asking for SB help to go vs aggro. Thanks for the input.
For sideboard aggro I found Rolling Tremblor to be decent against the Naya humans. Loxodon Smiter is not a great flip on unexpected results but he is decent sized body against aggro. Rhox faithmender is also good, especially if you run Kessig Wolf run (which also combines well with the drogskol weaver). I found aggro to be a pretty tough match if you don't have a farseek in your opener.
Stick with verdict, but I really think not running omniscience is a mistake. Just my opinion
Might be, what i find annoying about Omniscience is that it doesn't do anything by itself, you need to be holding a tutor or enter the infinite, it's also insanely expensive to cast so it's terrible to have in your opener.

Basically this. I have ways to refil my hand sure but its too slow to functionally work. I need bombs that are gonna present danger the second it hits th e board.
I can see running snapcaster as maybe a 2 of to give me more use out of decay or my wipes. It maybe a decent sb against aggro however I feel like focusing mb would slow down the deck but I'll test it out to see. I'm really liking the life gain option vs aggro though so I will try to sub out my creature bombs for more consistent blockers with life gain.
So playing a few decks at my LGS, one control, one mil, and one Spark Trooper aggro deck. Went 2 & 1 against all three decks.
Most notable wins:
Vs aggro- Hitting all land drops
T2: Farseek
T3: Urban Evolution -> Tyrant of discord (player sac'd Legionnaire Loyalist and a land)
T4: Clone -> Tyrant
T5&6: Thrag GG
VS Control- More towards the late game (thrag has been keeping me alive)
Opponent's Verdict clears the board and I have no hand (no real draw effects hit yet). Draw Snapcaster, play, flashback Results, hit Gristlebrand and drew 7 (down to 4 life). Play Results, hit Vraska, blew up D-sphere returning 2 Thrags and steamrolled the next turn.
EDIT: Urban Evolution might work here since I need to keep a hand vs control.
I get what you are saying. But our decks are just stylistically different. I don't want to have a deck set up to one major combo... to me that (sorry phone died at work during this reply lol) is kind of borring, plus if someone slaughter game's your win cons it's GG.
Now to say that your deck is better is purely opinion and I don't really appreciate the negativity. The only way to tell it to actually play eachother, and I don't play online so you'd have to come here. :-P
Don't like it, you're deluting the power of the deck, here is my list I play it like Omnidoor. It has the same shell but, is better
When you lose the omnidoor, look at all the free slots you now have:
-3 Omniscience
-1 Enter the Infinite
-2 Increasing Ambition
-2 Temporal Mastery
-1 Door to Nothingness
You can basically add 10 more threats/solutions. I was running a list similar to yours before and I find my build better against aggro because they basically scoop to drogskol weaver/griselbrand/angel of serenity anyways. Also helps the heavy control matchup because there is so much more they have to counter. I suppose if you play against midrange all day Omnidoor might be a better choice.
I'm curious of your choice of planeswalkers, are Chandra and Sorin that good that you run 2 each? I've never played with either of them so i'm not certain how to evaluate them. I imagine Chandra's -2 would be fun with unexpected or urban evolution, but the +1 ability seems weak and those two spells seem like the only good targets. Have you tried Tamiyo? Great utility and the ultimate is pretty much GG.
Yeah same with my local meta, Chandra has never failed me, pops off mana dorks and Legionaries. And the ping to opponent is never a bad thing either, helps me get there that much sooner.
I really like the set up to where you sit back with walkers and wipe all day. How often to do you Results into a wipe? Because I might end up throwing a few more in but I'm always worried about the set back, maybe I can side board a few to help vs aggro. Still finding that match-up a bit rough.
Also yeah I'm noticing Tamiyo only being good against the one BU mill deck at my shop since he uses Consuming Aberration. Might replace her with a Nicol Bolas if I get ahold of one.
Vraska's +1 is bleh at best, however, I mostly just use her for her -3.
Ok I think the sideboard is now set, my local meta plays a decent amount of mill, so Serra avatar can at least get me a tie if not a win. I'm really digging the adaptability of this deck, it's looking very strong. I'll have to let you know the results of some weekly tournaments.
Ive seen quite a few of these decks and oddly enough, (or maybe there is a reason Im not seeing) none of them play the one blue look at the top 5 cards of your deck and put them back in any order. Index is the cards name.
Im thinking that even though it is a sorcery you might be able to wiff alot less on your unexpected results if you add this card. It will also help you to dig deep in the early game vs. aggro for board wipes if you need to stay alive.
Just a though.

This deck seems like it will run pretty good against mid-range and control. But it will have a lot of trouble dealing with aggro.
You side board needs to be able to stop aggro because that is going to be your worst match up.
Centaur Healer and Restoration Angel will help you gain life vs. aggro.
Elixir of Immortality might also be good because of your five color.
I like the list. Good lucking playing those BOMBS!

I guess that's one of the great perks of this deck, you can swap out pieces depending on what you are seeing in your metagame pretty easily.
I might take out a Vraska for Chandra, try it out. I'm not really sold on Sorin, i can't see how the -2 pump would be that great our deck.
I also want to make room for 1-2 maindeck slaughter games, been seeing alot of reanimator around as well.
