that's not what happened at all. kamahl stabbed phage, akroma, and some old lady and they became korona. then korona got stabbed by her "prophets" and kamahl got drunk with a mutant centaur
Choosing color before mechanic seems stupid. The poll will just be a proxy for "what is your favorite color?" and chances are that the best mechanics the community can think of will be autorejected because they're not in the color chosen.
I wish my 4/4s with haste and first strike that acted as Goblin Warchiefs were better and didn't die to instants and overshadowed all other 4 drops in the format. And that they had evasion too, and some way to dodge wrath effects.
Really, WOTC, that's just tedious. Anyway, a quick perusal of MTG's past should reveal that blue and red are the colors of the really interesting enchantments. Either would suit me.
While I'm (obviously) glad that Enchantment won (and good game Land people), I believe after this vote it will be Arua or not, if anyone wants to lean in that direction. If you're going the "Restrictions Breed Creativity" route like you were with Lands, vote Green.
Honestly I'm not sure I want to participate anymore. This enchantment will likely end up as something silly and barely playable (if at all) and thus be of no interest to me. Land at least had better chance of being useful.
Agreed...
This is going to drag out long and painfully...
I want no part of it...
Enjoy making an enchantment that'll likely be forgotten and end up costing 25 mana! Goodbye!

I think we should avoid Blue, as it seems to get the most overcosted/nerfed enchantments lately (Xenograft, Back from the Brink, Inexorable Tide could all have been cool but got overcosted into the ground).
White gets weird effects that end up being fringe; Red gets some mighty cool stuff, and their enchantments don't come along too often (Pyromancer's Ascension, Splinter Twin); and Black gets some interesting ones (Lethal Vapors, Endless Whispers), and some bad ones (Descent Into Madness), while it seems like its best ones haven't happened in a very long time (Necropotence), probably for a reason.
Even if the mana cost of a Green one gets beefed, Green can at least handle that in stride usually. So I'd lean Green, especially with my eternal love of Defense of the Heart and Rancor.

The OP didn't make the poll public, so to maintain consistency it has been restarted as a public poll. If you had already voted, please resubmit your vote.
Depending on which color wins, here's what we'll end up with:
:symw:: 4CMC Rancor variant with double strike and/or lifelink.
:symu:: Another run off (Development is scared of Blue cards).
:symb:: 3CMC Rancor variant with deathtouch and/or lifelink.
:symr:: 6+CMC Timmy card.
:symg:: 2CMC Land Tax variant.
You know, after looking at this list of ideas, I think I'm going to vote Green.

May your games be chaotic and your decks be Rogue.
Red doesn't need enchantments, if we want to do this to make it constructive for standard, we need to either pick one that needs a little help or one that is almost dominating that would make this supplement it. Personally i think that either a blue or a black enchantment would be perfect for this. Red is fast, white would be decent but would mostly likely be pointless since most decks with white in them don't need enchantments (except esper), i think it should make control more popular, so we can offset the amount of aggro decks dominating standard right now.
Seriously, if you wanted a card like Crucible, you missed it when you voted enchantment...
this makes me laugh, the people raging because they voted land and it lost. Don't be a brat, just because its not a land doesn't mean it will be a bad card. Omniscience costs 10 and is seeing standard play.
Green! Give green back enchantments. I was very sad when they decided for some reason to give all the enchantress effects to white, where imo enchantments could actually make green a more interesting color that has things besides just creatures to play.

But now, we have two weeks to discuss:
What color?
Voting will open next week, on April 2nd. They want to give us a week to discuss it before 'mashing the voting buttons'.
But, here, we can mash all we want!
What color offers the most opportunities for an enchantment?
See how MTGS has voted in previous weeks below.

i gotta go with green/black.
they just have the most potential and widest range of effects in thier color pie.
Something mirri's guile like, but for black. huehuehue
Big thanks to Rivenor for the sig!!
I'd like to vote for Black, to get something like Phyrexian Arena or Bitterblossom ^^
Annoying that we don't get to choose multicolour either >_>

Anyhow, I'll be voting white. For no other reason than Luminarch Ascension was my favorite enchantment.

What could Red POSSIBLY do that'd make for a good card people want to play with?
I think that color would have the most restricted application.
Blah, it so sucks that land didn't win. Inb4 a million awful 10 mana Commander enchantment designs.

Off the top of my head, it always seems like Green gets the best. From Oath of Druids to Rancor to Awakening and even Sylvan Library, Vernal Bloom, Survival of the Fittest and Defense of the Heart.

I know exactly how you feel, which is why this is a great chance for Wizards to push the envelope with red.
