Hi all! My store is getting into pauper EDH so I thought I'd join in and build a second deck. For those unfamiliar with the rules:
1. Same as normal commander, except...
2. General must be an uncommon creature.
3. The rest of your deck can only be cards that were at any point printed at common.
4. Banned generals for our group are so far limited to Shriekmaw and Psychatog. This may change as time passes.
The deck is simple - a slow, grindy control deck that just plays value creatures, tutors, and many of the best cards in the format. No funny tricks, no infinite combos, no cute subthemes. Because I love control, and this guildmage lends itself well to a long, grindy game.
well, I thought about Dimir Guildmage myself for - well, dimir colors! - but decided to go Cavern Harpy instead. It seems like you included all the goodstuffs possible in your build, but I went so ETB-heavy that it's hard for me to give meaningful advice!
Your deck isn't boring, just pauper doesn't get as much attention.
I have a Dimir Guildmage deck myself, just not updated to include Gatecrash.
Your mana base is amazing of course, but I would include Transguild Promenade and Rupture Spire, they are fantastic fixing and your deck can afford to use one turn on them.
Consider replacing Echoing Truth with Repeal or Repulse all offer card advantage and if you are trying to deal with tokens, you have Evincar's Justice and Crypt Rats, but should also be running Pestilence, which is easily tutorable in your deck.
You may also want to run Bone to Ash as a counterspell, replacing Rewind or something else, the card matters.
I also play Weiss Schwarz, Chaos, Vanguard and Wixoss.
