that was a well written article.
the only other thing i would have mentioned in the article was that when time vault recieved its current rewording, they reworded celestial dawn in order to have it return to its current intent...but they have not fixed Master of Arms to prevent tapped blockers from dealing combat damage as was the original intent behind the card

Well written article! Interesting how cards and rules changed...
I don't quite get the interaction between Time Vault - Mizzium Transreliquat.
Could you explain it to me, please?

Copy Vault with Transreliquat. You now have an untapped Time Vault. Tap for an extra turn! Then when the turn's over, Transreliquat goes back to being a Transreliquat, and will untap on your next turn. Repeat process.

Good article, Finn, but really, aside from the last line or so, what does it have to do with Legacy?

Not a heckuvalot for competitive, frankly. But some people I know were wondering why I had to write only articles on competitive. This is my nod to them. It is the kind of nostalgic pondering that piques the interest of my weekend casual magic friends (who buld mostly for Legacy). This is the kind of stuff we routinely discuss via email all week alongside complaints about spouses and the merits of lunch condiments.

BTW, did anyone find/appreciate the Easter Egg? I had actually intended to remove it and just now realized it made it to print.

You mean the link to the Monty Python Script? I assume that's what you meant.

If Time Walk can be played, so can Time Vault if they restrict it. I don't see why they keep errata-ing it.

Nice article, but you used "sleaze" too many darn times. Unless that was a joke which I didn't get.
