... (Two of the) rares are a blue creature "Magus of the Jar" and a red instant "Word of Seizing". (A couple) of the purple symbol cards are Shadowmage Infiltrator, Mindless automaton and Sengir Autocrat. The regular cards are numbered out of a set size of 301 and the purple symbols are numbered out of a set size of 121. Both sets share the hourglass Time Spiral logo....

There are NO other details (Including who this came from) on this apart from the above info, but please feel free to discuss/speculate on this find.

Both Names check out in the ORB! TTTIIIMMEEE... eh... I'm too tired to shout it. Enjoy!
And a summary thanks to brother Lesurgo (post 254):
Here are conversions from what I can make out:
Firemaw Kavu :5mana::symr: Creature-Kavu (U) Echo :5mana::symr: (Yes this is new Templating) When Firemaw Kavu comes into play, it deals 3 damage to target creature. When Firemaw Kavu leaves play, it deals 3 damage to target creature. 4/2
Note that it could be 2 or 4 damage instead of 3. However, it looks like 3 to me.
Phyrexian Totem - Artifact (U) T: Add to you mana pool. :2mana::symb:: Becomes a 5/5 black Horror artifact creature with trample until end of turn. Whenever Phyrexian Totem is dealt damage, if it's a creature, sacrifice that many permanents.
Premature Burial :1mana::symb: Sorcery (U) Destroy target nonblack creature that came into play since your last turn ended.
Duskrider Peregrine :5mana::symw: Creature-Bird (U) Suspend-3? :1mana::symw: Flying, Protection from Black 3/3
Conflagrate :xmana::xmana::symr: Instant/sorcery (U) This deals X damage divided how you choose among any number of creatures and/or players. Flashback: :symr::symr:, discard X cards
Ignite Memories - :5mana::symr:/:6mana::symr: Sorcery (U) Target player reveals a card at random from his or her hand. Ignite Memories deals to that player damage equal to that card's converted mana cost. Storm
Truth or Tale :3mana::symu: Instant (U) Reveal the top 5 cards of your library and seperate them into piles. An opponent chooses one pile, then you choose one card out of that pile to put into your hand, then put the rest of the cards revealed this way on the bottom of your library in any order.
Note that while it looks a lot like 3U it could possibly be 1U.... Which would also make it a lot better.
Assembly-Worker Creature - Assembly-Worker (U) :symtap:: Target assembly-worker gets +1/+1 until end of turn. 2/2
Magus of the Jar :3mana::symu::symu: Creature-Human Wizard (R) , Sacrifice Magus of the Jar: Each player removes his or her hand from the game face down, and draws seven cards. At end of turn, each player discards his or her hand and returns to his or her hand each card he or she removed from the game this way. 3/3
Word of Seizing :3mana::symr::symr: Instant (R) Split Second Untap target permanent and gain control of it until end of turn. It gains haste until end of turn.

Hmm, Magus of the Jar would have to be fairly highly costed if it really is the Jar itself. Course, it loses quite a bit in that by being a creature, it gains summoning sickness which the Jar never had.
Still, if Finkel is coming back, his archnemesis Budde should come back, amirite?
WTF???? what i cant wait for is, despite the previews, whether or not the purple issue will be cleared up before or after the pre-release, and if they're in boosters they have to be t2 legal right?
ps, here is a big TTTTTIIIIIMMMMMEEEEE SSSSSPPPPPIIIIIRRRRRAAAAALLLLLL! just for Brother Hydro.
I get the impression that rare "purple" cards are unlikely - it'd be pretty weird to get two rares out of a booster, and it'd be insanely weird to get a rare card from another set as your rare. I can see them replacing a common slot per booster with a reprint - why not? but a rare? How does it work?
"Seizing" returns 1 hit on the orb, while the Magus of the Jar issue is being discussed in another thread in Speculation. The reprints don't show up as hits on the orb.
Anyway, good to hear another source which points towards the 121 reprints being true. Anyone see Sengir Autocrat as a replacement for Promise of Bunrei for Ghost Husk, if reprint cards are T2-legal?

Wouldnt they just work like foils and replace the same rarity.

Good to see that Finkel will be coming back in TS.
On purple: have we had confirmations on how they'll work out in boosters? Will there be an extra card, a replaced card or something else? And will purples be standard legal?
So basically the 121 purple symbol reprints are all but confirmed.
Well, I sure don't want them replacing TS rares, but if they replace a common then that's pretty sweet. (unless of course my valuable MTGO INV block rares are among them. )
Wouldnt they just work like foils and replace the same rarity.
The more I think about the logistic of it, the more I doubt the purple cards are real. If they're too common, they take away focus from the new set. But if they're too rare, they're useless. Where's the line between the two? I mean, if you have 121 common reprints, and one card out of 15 is a reprint (they replace one common per booster with a reprint), you would need to buy an insane amount of boosters to get a playset of one particular common - and what to say of completing the set? If the reprints are distributed across all rarities, it is even weirder when you open a non time spiral card as your rare, and what of limited?
I still see NO confirmation of the purple reprint set, even after this.
If it was found on the net, anybody could have written it. It can be only another example of people writing their wishes and presenting them as real things.
Magus of the Jar....speculated pretty much here, so it is not a confirmation at all, just a piece of info added to make the info more credible.
Word of Seizing....well, I am sure I can also think up some cardnames that fits to the Orb.
Let's see what will evolve from this...

First of im sorry brother that you have to resort to this because of WOTC's sudden card]panic attack[/card].
regarding the 121 rarity it would be nice if it just replaces a common even if you get the equivalent of two rares in one booster it would still make it very difficult for that to actually happen, the only thing i want to confirm though is wether this bonus cards will be T2 legal.
Anyways great find Hydro, i have no catchphrase but heres a bunny dance :bunny::bunny::bunny::bunny::bunny:

Any ideas for Word of Siezing? Word of Command + Sieze the Day, possibly? Search your opponent's hand for a creature card and put it into play with haste until end of turn.
Unconvinced. if they want to reprin, just use Xth edition for this purpose. It was meant to gather the most basic and clasic cards, don't see the point of reprintig random ones from the past.

Whenever enchanted land becomes tapped, everyone goes WHHEEE
your mom uses the stack
Someday all lands will be controlled by all players and all creatures will be equal.
The purple may just indicate "illegal in limited", so that they're still allowable in standard. Kind of like your pre-release promo card can't be used in your pre-release deck, these bonus promo cards can't be used in your sealed deck either.
For me, this is circumstantial evidence against the email being true.
The orb does not has sufficient mana costs to support 422 cards + ability costs + mana ability effects.
So rumours that fit the orb, but simulateneously claim 422 cards, smell of a faker who is using the orb to boost his or her case without thinking things through properly.
It's entirely circumstantial ofc, and the cards named seem reasonable.
ok guys, the cards will be a gimmick. only legal in sets where the originals are legal by now.
Since they carry a TS symbol this doesn't seem remotely likely due to the confusion it would cause.
If...
a) The purple cards used their original set symbols but in purple.
and
b) FNM didn't rely on all cards in current boosters being standard legal.
and
c) everyone at wotc, espeicially maro, was bat**** insane
...then maybe.
I accept that c) is probably true - that still leaves the other two.
I don't understand why people are obsessed with making the cards be illegal in things. They'll be opened in packs, so they'll be legal in limited; they'll be in a currently in-print set, so they'll be legal in Standard. Seriously, there's no question about either of these things.
Hmm....Seems like the reprints are all rares, or good uncommons. Very interresting cards as well (the three reprints mentioned), The Autocrat will go well with just about anything that requires a regular sacrifice (Woebringer Demon and Lord of the Pit for example), Shadowmage could bring new life to the Dimir Guild, and Mindless Automaton is a shoe-in for Simic decks.
The two new cards sound promising. I'm guessing the red instant is a "thief" effect that allows you to steal something of your opponents. The name suggests that it will be stealing artifacts.
On a whole, I like.

It's about time for the reserved list to die, for the sake of Vintage and Legacy (And Commander).
Anyways, it's stated there the purple cards are labeled as a seperate set of 121, and it's confirmed that the 121 extra cards are NOT in the orb (the two cards with the best shot of being in the set don't work in the orb, ie Akroma and Sanctifier), so claiming this is bull because the names check out in the orb is absolutely moronic. I'm not saying it's stupid to doubt this rumour, I'm stating that it's stupid to doubt it for stupid reasons. It's like saying you have a gut feeling and expect everyone to follow it, it has no basis in fact.
I'll wait and see on this one though, since we don't know where this info came from, hence we don't know how official it is.

They will not make the cards illegal in Limited. That would be assinine to go to the prerelease and be jipped out of cards. If they come in a Time Spiral pack, they will be valid in all formats, just as any other new set, unless previously restricted. And I find it highly doubtful that restricted cards will even be reprinted.
Just look forward to a very card saturated Standard Format Season.
