I think Coastal Piracy, Equilibrium and Opposition are win more in Edric. Once you've set up the Edric lock, you win 99% of games, so its better just to do that more consistently than to have alternate win conditions.
I really like Invigorate and Mutagenic Growth in Edric. They're outs to Volcanic Fallout and can also troll red burn decks that think you won't tap out for Edric on turn 3.
An additional cool card to play against cards like Pyroclasm effects is Broodhatch Nantuko. It looks bad, but when you save it as a blocker and effectively shut down a deck like Doran (who doesn't want to give you 5 1/1s to draw a gazillion cards off of), you realize how versatile and strong it is.
You're definitely missing gaea's cradle and survival of the fittest. Survival allowing you to tutor instand speed protection like plaxmanta Venser or vendilion clique as well as threats like scryb ranger and sky lasher is nice too. I'm also a fan of notorious throng as creatures like jhessian infiltrator, pestermite, Edric and more are rogues that let you prowl for the win.
