I'm not quite sure what you mean by the CARD tags within DECK tags. I'm new to all this as you can tell, and was up late trying to figure the whole posting thing out.
Timing Armageddon correct doesn't require much skill: Even on a neutral board, blowing all lands up heavily favors the aggro deck, since it requires less mana to operate. As long as your players don't destroy all lands when they are losing, you should be fine.
I agree with this. I guess I was just being a worrier. So I will add Armageddon and Catastrophe. What about my assessment of Upheaval?
I like those alternatives. I guess I'm trying to have my cake and eat it too with my hybrids.
How does the "others" section you have work in your cube? Does it work well?
A 6 mana Upheaval against aggro doesn't get you anywhere, since you are about to face those efficient 1+2 mana creatures that are causing your deck problems right away, only that this time you start the game with a single digit life total.
Keeping true hybrids separated from the gold and mono color sections is much better than having them in the gold section, since that does not represent the decks that can play them at all. The error that you are making compared to putting them in one of the colors that could play it is the same, however you don't have to subjectively decide to which of the 2 colors you want to assign it to. It also allows me to include cards there that are not as good as mono colored cards in the vacuum, but are good for the environment because they add some redundancy. (You rather have something else in the Rakdos Shred-Freak slot for your deck, but it is much better than using a non-aggressive 2 drop or a 3 drop instead.)
I think that I will add 5 artifacts and 5 colorless, maybe a wubrg, land and make a hybrid section, which probably wont be balanced. I completely agree with the fact that they are not like a gold card. I'll reduce my gold section too. Four per combo. Maybe even cut Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker. Sphinx of the Steelwind is a Tinker target.
In an unpowered cube, Upheaval is likely the best blue card--depending on whether or not you consider Mana Drain powered. If you cast Upheaval and float any mana, it's hard to lose. Play Upheaval, drop almost anything, win. You can also do neat tricks with it. I once saw my cousin play Upheaval when his opponent had his Mind-Sculptor under an Oblivion Ring. Nuts.

Thanks rant, I totally know that upheaval is powerful hahaha. I am more concerned with someone who is completely new or learning to play understanding how powerful it is and the right time to play it. in my play group, we get a really lot of new players and people who want to learn. I'm probably going to put it in eventually. I'm probably not giving new players enough credit.

Part of the learning process is passing great cards and having them used to kick your butt. I had to train my cube group to stop passing me Tangle Wire. You can train yours to stop passing Upheaval.
Is Tinker really that bad of a card that you need to throw in "uncastable" stuff to improve its performance?
I figure that since Sundering Titan is not going to get much value with out the ABU duals I might as well run an alternative.
Any suggestions for an alternative to that alternative?
It's kinda along the same lines as Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker. He's hot exactly castable he's just in there for nostalgic reasons. He will eventually come out if eventually if he is a last pick and not showing up in decks.

Sphinx of the Steel Wind is pretty amazing when cheated into play via Tinker, Reanimation, Show and Tell, and Eureka. If you aren't playing at least a combination of the three in my opinion he really isn't worth running.
I'm not a huge fan of Precursor Golem. 9 power for 6 mana is good but just really isn't my cup of tea for what I would want from a 5 mana creature.

Precursor Golem reminds me quite a bit of Deranged Hermit, who also puts 9 power on the board over multiple bodies for 5 mana and also loses quite a bit of power if removal is aimed at the main body. Precursor gives you fewer bodies and you lose all of the power to spot removal, but each body is beefier on its own, you don't need to protect a 1/1, and you don't have to pay echo.

I agree with the value you get from both Precursor Golem and Deranged Hermit. I definitely worry about the golem getting hit with removal. I would like to find a replacemt for it.

I disagree because Titan is possibly the best Tinker target but also a good card for reanimator and ramp. Duals and shocks make him better, but the lack of them doesn't make him unplayable. If you Tinker or reanimate Titan really early, you often have a 7/10 facing a landless opponent. That's usually GG.
I think Small Pox can function nicely without a Pox package. I really like it reanimator, as it allows you discard your fatty on t2 while disrupting your opponent.

I figure that since Sundering Titan is not going to get much value with out the ABU duals I might as well run an alternative.
Any suggestions for an alternative to that alternative?
It's kinda along the same lines as Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker. He's hot exactly castable he's just in there for nostalgic reasons. He will eventually come out if eventually if he is a last pick and not showing up in decks.

I'm not a huge fan of Precursor Golem. 9 power for 6 mana is good but just really isn't my cup of tea for what I would want from a 5 mana creature.
I do run Sphinx and have seen him hard cast at least 3 times in the last few months. I am not saying that should ever really happen, just that he is not as unplayable in my cube as others seem to say. I keep in in bc he is silly and I want some element of silly in my 450. Same with Nico Bolas, Planeswalker (who has now ended many games with decent ramp).
Upheaval is certainly not properly respected in my cube...
Precursor Golem reminds me quite a bit of Deranged Hermit, who also puts 9 power on the board over multiple bodies for 5 mana and also loses quite a bit of power if removal is aimed at the main body. Precursor gives you fewer bodies and you lose all of the power to spot removal, but each body is beefier on its own, you don't need to protect a 1/1, and you don't have to pay echo.

I am hoping that my Tinker targets are in the 6-7 range. Kinda a beefier Timmy card, like Sphinx. I think if I ever acquire a set of ABU duals, Sundering Titan will be in and Sphinx out. I feel with only Rav shocks, the value of playing the Titan is too low.

I disagree because Titan is possibly the best Tinker target but also a good card for reanimator and ramp. Duals and shocks make him better, but the lack of them doesn't make him unplayable. If you Tinker or reanimate Titan really early, you often have a 7/10 facing a landless opponent. That's usually GG.

I would keep in smallpox, but I have yet to acquire a Pox so I figured I'd take it out for now till I can support the archetype.
Eidolon-
Relic-warder wasn't pulling his weight, if artifacts start to escalate, he may get his place back.
The spear seemed to be a strict upgrade to the anthem.
AEther adept - seemed like the best choice to cut for the sea god, plus I needed to cut back on creature from my last cube analysis.
Searing Blaze and Brimstone Volley seemed like the best choices.
Steam Augury looks like it will be amazing, as a fact or fiction that you choose, Fire//Ice was under-appreciated and underperforming.
