Default [TS] Cancel (Counterspell II), and Trickbind (Stifle II)...

Greetings Fellow Rumor enthusiasts!

(R_E mentioned me bringing the peanuts in all of y'all Snickers somehere so here goes...)

[OfficialHydrodisclaimerincaseWOTCasks]...I posted this originally in the speculation forum yesteday, based on a small piece of information shown to me by a new, friendly, generous informer... I have a little more to the puzzle now, so here it is...[OfficialHydrodisclaimerincase WOTCasks]

Cancel (was previously yet un-named "Counterspell II")
1uu
Instant.
Counter Target spell.
Uncommon

And this too:

The yet un-named "Stifle II"
1u
Counter target activated or triggered ability.
Further Activated or Triggered abilities cannot be played by that (card?) until end of turn. (Wording tricky here)
Split Second.
Rare?

[OfficialHydrodisclaimerincaseWOTCasks]Note, these cards aren't 100% yet, but they've been hinted at strongly by a person or three so far. And, people keep PMing me to post it here, so here it is...

Feel free to discuss, speculate on names, but please, no spamming the thread with cries of Fake. I've no reason to think these are fakes, and they get the [Official] Hydro Stamp of approval [/Official]! [OfficialHydrodisclaimerincaseWOTCasks]

Enjoy!

EDIT: Name found for the counterspell: Cancel!

Uncommon? Why? That seems wholely unnecessary and blah blah blah I don't like it at all. But I'm sure these cards are real, and both are cool.

It's a shame the counter is uncommon. The stifle's nice though. Do't know if it's quite that powerful. It may beat up the Husk decks or something though. Not much else.

Well, this appears to be the final death knell for counterspell. Nice to see a standard replacement for Hinder though.

The new stifle is very cool. I predicted that they would "fix" interdict, and they have... IN SPADES!

yay, now i can play type two again. Yes, i like playing boring decks, so what?

Nah, actually, time Spiral is shaping up to be an interesting set, at least from the mono-color aspect.

Good/Hard counter are getting the uncommon slot now... look at hinder and remand for instance.

Still... they are great news! Finally... I'm starting to get a little hyped with TS (still... not confidant enough about it)

So, these cared are in Time Spiral?

I guess the new Counterspell will replace Hinder quite well.
I'm actually really hopeful and happy.

At long last, Mystic Denial's fully grown brother enters the foray. This card has been speculated since Mirrodin, and it's finally here. First dibs on assuming it's a 10th/11th plant!

The super-Stifle is awesome too. Take that, Psychatog!

That would be the counterspells coming full circle, then. Many cards have hinted that 1UU "is supposed to be" the casting cost for countering with no strings attached, and I believe Aaron Forsythe said it once. Though I think MaRo said the opposite once.

That would be Interdict in its old form, I think. Maybe one of the purples?

A card to replace hinder in Firemane Control. Yes! I like Time Spiral a lot. Maybe because I have 4 of every card. Pre-Order! Everybody should do it. I can't wait for the next 2 sets in the block to come out. It will be crazy.

Exactly, and Interdict used to be an Interrupt. Now that it is an Instant, you could simply reactivate certain activated ability.

Of course, now I realize that Interdict couldn't stop triggered abilities, so that idea is moot.
