Default [TS] Lim-Dul the Necromancer (Updated), Moonlace & tidbits...

[OfficialHydrodisclaimerincaseWOTCasks]

Greetings all! Again!

Some more info coming in from various people:

Magus of the Candelabra is 1/2, not 1/1 as once thought.

The wording on Lim-dul is not 100%, but close He may have another ability alongside this, but here it is so far:

!!!Updated with new text!!!

Lim-Dul, the Necromancer
5bb
Legendary Creature - Human (Wizard?)
Whenever a creature is put into a graveyard from play, you may pay 1b, if you do, return that creature to play under your control. It is a Zombie in addition to its creature types.
1b: Regenerate target Zombie.
4/4
Rare.

Again, he may have an additional ability on top of all that, but this is what I've been able to peice together based on what I've been shown thus far.

And lastly another card, a blue rare:

Moonlace
u
Instant
Target permanent (or spell) becomes colorless until end of turn.
Rare.

Wordings not 100%, but close enough to be posted here.

Stay tuned my good fellows and ladies, more coming in soon...

Sucks, and sucks more. Although I'm glad that the original crap-rare cycle (the laces) is getting its propers in TS. (Think One With Nothing was bad? Remember when there were effectively five of them in the Core Set?)

Kinda sad about Lim-Dul, now that I think about it. is a lot.

Ugh..a lace Suddenly I hate TS.

Not really, but, that's one 'old card/concept' that they should have left dead and buried. Lim-Dul seems really solid, I'm surprised he's not ub, since so many Lim Dul cards were ub.

@Guesswork: 7 mana really isn't that much anymore, and that ability is extremely powerful. Not only can you steal all of your opponents guys(and obviously you can put them into that graveyard with your own removal), but, you can then also keep them from dying because they can regenerate. It's fairly costed.

OMFG. So moonlace is a tribute to a cycle of crappy alpha rares and one of the worst rares ever. And it's naturally, a rare. They are taking this nostalgia thing waaaay too far.

Moonlace can go join the rest of the laces in a firey pit. I know wizards is enjoying returning to the old themes, but that is one theme they could go right past.

I read the effect on Lim-Dul before i looked at the cost. I was like ''Woah!", now it's just ''NO!".
However he does continue the tons of Limited Bombs.

Although Lim-Dul sucks... I am glad they finally got around to printing him.

The lace on the otherhand is pretty weak. Why EOT? Weren't the original laces permanent?

I don't really care that they printed the lace but with my luck, I'm probably going to open like infinity of those as my rares

Most likely, the reason Lim-Dul costs so much is that he has suspend, like all the other "old" legends we are seeing. Just take a look at Ith. Suspending him into play wouldn't be that bad.

Yeah, I remember when everyone said One with Nothing sucked, then it was a SB staple in Worlds Honolulu. I guess it stopped sucking. Apparently they made a card to answer a deck that the FFL found. (Owling Mine) that it would answer.

Lim-Dul will see playing in a black control deck, though I cant say it will be a staple.

And Moonlace can or can not be good, just like One with Nothing.

I swear, some people dont learn from history at all.

*Shudder* Let's hope that was a typo and the lace is permanent. Otherwise I'll be very sick. It wouldn't really fit the other laces otherwise. Ugh... it's like pale moon all over again.

Lim-Dul is alright. I would be surprised to see him show his face at any tournaments, but casual players will love him. He sounds fun!

Moonlace, on the other hand, I hate. Unless there's a damn good reason for this effect to be on a rare card in TS, I think we just found the rare we'd all hate to open. Though, this isn't the first time we've seen a 'colour matters' reference on a Time Spiral card. I wonder what this hints at..

actuial this one isnt a bad card it ruins pro color and it makes the non black kill spells a little less discrimitory as a added + if someone uses radiate you can ruin it by paying 1 mana
