How much poison does it take to kill the players? I feel like you could die from just a decent 1/1 swarm (say 5 flip turn 1 and a ichor rats, and then 4 flip the next turn and a flensermite) if you play with just 10 poison counters.
The pods I usually frequent are pretty high powered. I suppose it could be a challenge for 3 decks... I just wrote the preliminary card list, it hasn't even been tested once yet. Once I do I'll get back to you.
Espuma. In my list, Everlasting torment is a house. I want to add a second one so it comes up more often. It hinders life gain strategies and withers big creatures making them not want to block (really puts a dent in my friends Uril voltron deck). I thought about corrosive mentor, but I think it would just die too easily in the first attack, and it's not a zombie.
With only 10 poison counters, you basically only have 10 life. It's not impossible to win since the tokens are just 1/1s, but it makes it really hit-or-miss (again, this is just my guessing). If you get a strong horde turn, you could get 1 or 2-shot really easily. The problem is that you will only win on the games where the players really kick the hordes butt (since you can't take much damage and lifegain doesn't allow for comebacks), but those are the least fun games.
I agree it's probably too low, but I would like to give a shot first to fine-tuning this by balancing creature tokens with other cards instead of increasing the poison counter limit... doing that would defeat the whole purpose of building an infect horde deck IMHO.
Removed Blighted Agent from the list. Infect is bad enough already. Having it on a hasted unblockable creature is ludicrous.

I like that idea. In my list (200 card zombie horde in my sig), I have 2 toxic nims. The players die at 10 poison. Since it regenerates and deals a ton of poison, you can't ignore it, but you can ignore it until you have 8 poison (2 hits from it).
Basically, you have to choose between taking this risky poison damage, or losing valuable creatures to the regenerating, killing machine.
For your list, it is similar. I was actually thinking of making an insect horde that had a lot of infect insects for tokens. It allows the non-tokens to be powerful since the players can just take some of that damage (infect does not add to regular damage kills), and makes the tokens a separate threat entirely. This is essentially the reverse of what I have in my zombie horde with toxic nim. It's really fun trying to figure how you can avoid dying.
I can't believe I skipped Toxic Nim. Oh well. Current list looks deadly enough already but if that does not happen to be the case I'll find room for it.
