there's actually a thread up on 4chan about it. OP said its collector number 9, no new pics that would provide any insight or suggest it is real though.
No, I want this to be real! Please be real!
I'm not going to actually speculate on whether or not it is the actual card, because the only thing that throws me off is the blurry image. I am sure there are more experienced people looking at this than myself.
Possible but looks fake, normally planeswalkers have there art slightly coming of the frame..
If it's real, which I still doubt at this point simply because the evidence is from 4chan and an incredibly blurry picture at that, the part that would be breaking the frame would be her hood. It looks sort of odd from the angle in the picture.
Very likely not, as it is still months away.
Is that definitive? No, but at the same time, my skepticism is going to be very hard to overcome without some better form of proof.
Two Oblations for the price of one. Protects herself perhaps better than any other planeswalker yet. Spits out a Serra Ascendant upon ultimate.
The only thing that seems off to me is the hood that doesn't quite peak over the top of the frame. I'm willing to believe this one's real, though. And if it is, it's definitely a nod to EDH players that's still quite playable in standard. Very good.
... flying, lifelink, and protection from all colors ...
Pretty sure Wizards always uses the Oxford comma; see Akroma's Memorial, Asha's Favor, and others.
(Couldn't find an example without it, but found plenty with it.)

Fake.
I believe there is a comma after lifelink, its hard to tell though cuz of the quality.
Have a helicopter drop you off out front. Light your cigar with a small Indonesian boy holding a black lotus. Then bust out a craw wurm deck with no sleeves. Raw dog shuffle, loose terribly, flip the table, leave in a hovercraft.
I *believe* it's real and, if not, I *think* it's a really good fake. What sold me was the casting cost and the ultimate. Come to think of it, even the first ability makes sense.
I don't think there are any planeswalkers with the same name and casting cost.
Both existing Elspeths protect themselves.
Both existing Elspeths make tokens.
The first Elspeth makes most of your permanents indestructible, whereas the second blows up everything except your tokens.
Fake or not, whoever designed this version has done an elegant homage to the concept of Elspeth. Also, taking into account the name (and ultimate) of this incarnation, it seems the character will finally find the peace that's eluded her.

There are no divisions: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. -Galatians 3:28
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.
so she gives herself protection from color, casts oblation and has a redic ultimate.. I dont even play magic anymore and i want 4.

I want to call fake on this one because it seems even more cliche than something wizards would print. Wizards would definitely ask themselves "Do we want a card in White that does everything Divination can do but better?" And because only Blue, Green, and Black can have raw card draw, they'd return that with "no." In other words, if they did this, she would specify that she can't shuffle herself in.

On top of that, why would Elspeth suddenly make spirits when previously she was all about soldiers? It's not like she has lost her martial abilities. She still carries a weapon with her. Looks like a glaive to me. But whatever it is, that point is moot. Spirits for her make no sense.
The art is also wrong, it doesn't continue past the frame of the inner boxes.
Calling this fake as well.
Edit: I am suddenly reminded of many Bigfoot tapes, or even alien tapes. Why are the ones that claim to be proof of their existance always blurry and shakey? Same principle applies. Even more fake.
looks too good.. and the blurry image is always a bad sign.... who the hell makes blury pictures like that nowadays?
also her +1 seems much too strong. it just means that she is nearly unkillable if you can protect her from the threats the opponent has with the protection.
it would be more convincing if you could give a creatures protection from a color and not a permanent.
It's a fake. The templating of the first effect should match the reminder text of detain, which means a more correct wording would be
"Until your next turn, target permanent gains protection you control gains protection from the color of your choice."
This way the protection is emphasized to be lasting until your next turn, rather than your choice of color lasting until your next turn.

Friend just posted this on facebook, says he found it posted on the internet. I don't see a thread for it. Thoughts? Is it real?
EDIT: From 4chan. Original Poster says its collector's number 9. I have no more info.

enjoying the fakes over the real thing.
So I'm going fake.
Brave the elements was literally just printed.

That's mostly because the people that make the fakes don't have to deal with balancing them against anything else.
Oxford command is optional. But if used, should be used all the time.
I tend to agree. See, for instance, Elspeth, Knight-Errant, Reprocess, Rite of Ruin, or Loxodon Gatekeeper. Even a card as old as Legends' Kismet has it.
