Sygg is a deck I made specifically to win. It is not an exceedingly fun deck, and it won't make you any pals. It's not interactive, and if it's going to win, it'll be turn three or four.
The basic gist of the deck is thus: Ad Nauseam is, in context, an extremely broken card. Accelerate as much as possible, tutor for it, and cast it. For 3BB, you draw fifty to eighty cards. After that, you play enough spells to Tendrils of Agony away the blue player(s), and then Exsanguinate the rest of the table courtesy of Skirge Familiar making lethal amounts of mana.
If blue's particularly oppressive, there's Pact of Negation to counter the counter and Boseiju, Who Shelters All to make Ad Nauseam uncounterable. Tendrils doesn't need to be uncounterable. There's lots of tutors, so in a matchup with blue, tutor for both Ad Nauseam and a way to protect it. Also, discard to tell counterspells to go away.
If you don't draw enough cards off of Ad Nauseam to kill a table, you gain as much life as possible (with either Tendrils or Exsanguinate or both), Yawgmoth's Will, Ad Nauseam and use something like Feldon's Cane to shuffle the rest of your graveyard back in to your library.
Why Sygg? Sygg drops earlier than Oona. This is not a control list, it exists solely to combo. You can use Sygg as fodder to Diabolic Intent to go grab the win condition, or to Culling the Weak to accelerate. Also, cards.
Tutors? Most of the well-costed tutors are being played - those that cost 4 and less. It it seems to be enough.
47 Lands? Lands are free when we hit them with Ad Nauseam and can be turned into mana with Skirge Familiar. They fill space.
Why No X? Because. This list has seen a lot of online play, and most things have been tried. This is the most consistent I've managed to get it to be. Better ways to abuse Ad Nauseam are out there, and this isn't the best approach. Still, if you want to take this approach for some reason, this is what I ended up with.
So, that's the deck. There's not much else to say. It should outpace most other competitive lists. ANT is pretty well established in EDH, and this is my take on it. A straightforward exercise in playing EDH exactly the opposite of how you're intended to...
A little more playtesting sees Brainspoil get the axe for Grim Tutor. I see Brainspoil turned over from Ad Nauseam more often than I use it to tutor by quite a ways. It's 5 life that I end up losing in that scenario, which is less cards drawn. It's also a third 5 drop, which increases the odds of there being one in my deck when Ad Nauseam takes me down to 5 (again, that's 1 less card I can safely get).
Grim Tutor is 3 life when flipped by Ad Nauseam, and 3 life when used to tutor for Ad Nauseam. In practice, this is a lower average life loss and nets more cards with Ad Nauseam.
lol. This entire deck is the definition of all in. While I'm note sure Infernal Tutor would be worth it, "niche" cards are what this deck is all about.

That's pretty fair. Still, I don't want a tutor to be dead unless there's an LED or I mull down and draw right to pop it.
The all in approach has its flaws, and it will flop pretty hard to a well built Zur or something that can reliably control my hand.
The discard package was tuned to a meta it's no longer facing and probably wants more now. I'm thinking Mind Twist and Inquisition of Kozilek on top of what we've got.
I don't know if I'm starved for tutors. Demonic Consultation seems really risky.

Again, your deck defines "risk". I mean, you auto lose to Extract so I don't see how risk is an issue.
I play Oona over a deck like this because I can run different combos (granted Jesters Cap still hurts A LOT). But your lack of countermagic/discard/any defense makes this deck seem very....frail in a multiplayer setting. It also doesn't have any tricks. People can immediately stop it once they've seen it once.

I get your point. In general competitive play, I'm beginning to "convert" to more reasonable competitive generals with a back up plan. Sharuum, Oona, Zur, Jin...
The key to playing in a cutthroat group isn't to play a stronger deck (although it helps) but to play smarter. If you can politic and read players well you can play a much wider variety of decks.

You don't say? Still, a deck that doesn't fold to Exhume or Nevermore is probably a better option, and what I'm looking at thanks to others' input. I mean, Ad Nauseam is broken in so many contexts.

In 1v1, Tendrils of Agony will kill the opponent almost always.

Enjoy.

Grim Monolith is also an excellent rock for this.
Also, Lim-Dul's Vault might be a consideration.
That all being said, I dislike the huge number of lands.
