Hi! This is my take on Riku, of Two Reflections. I built this with the express intent of occasionally casting Decimate and copying it with Riku. Decimate does not a deck make so I decided to ruin the game for my opponents by resolving Knowledge Pool, Planar Chaos or Possibility Storm. Each of those cards play well with Riku but very poorly with my opponents. They also tend to complicate the boardstate. I'm quite certain many of my wins have resulted from an opponent getting confused.
The primary challenge with early iterations of my Riku build was a lack of "oomph," if you will. I was ruining things for my neighbors but couldn't close the deal. To that end I've added some more decisive finishers (Tooth and Nail for It That Betrays and Keldon Firebombers, for example) and allowed for combos to happen (Archaeomancer + Time Warp + Riptide Laboratory. That said, I've intentionally left out obvious stuff like Deadeye Navigator and Palinchron, as they take very little effort AND are somewhat boring.
I gain the most satisfaction from out-thinking and out-politicking my opponents and eventually constructing a combo that involves their broken own creatures. Notable wins include flashing in Gilded Drake to steal an opponents Deadeye Navigator in response to his soulbond trigger and then using it to soulbond my own Eternal Witness followed by Mana Draining all the spells. Another fun one involved copying a Rite of Replication with kicker targeting an opponent's Scourge of Valkas.
TL:DR, this deck wins with splashy spells after grinding on the table with copied Decimates, etc.. It tends to create complicated board states which I enjoy making the most of. The only boring wins come from accidentally getting the Time Warp loop pieces at the same time.
