Two planeswalkers I've been considering for my set Coins of Mercalis
Would love some feedback.
Stanis, the Scornful :1mana::symw::symb:
Planeswalker — Stanis (M)
Starting Loyalty: 2
+2: Each opponent loses 2 life and you gain that much life.
-X: Return target creature with converted mana cost X or less from your graveyard to the battlefield.
-9: Each opponent exiles each creature they control then discards their hand.
Old Versions Oneria, the Dreamshaper :3mana::symg::symu:
Planeswalker — Oneria (M)
Starting Loyalty: 4
+1: Until your next upkeep you may cast creature cards as though they had flash.
-3: Tap or untap up to five target permanents controlled by target player.
-8: Exile the top seven cards of your library.
You may play nonland cards exiled this way without paying their mana cost.
Oneria, the Dreamshaper :3mana::symg::symu:
Planeswalker — Oneria (M)
Starting Loyalty: 4
+1: Until your next upkeep you may cast creature cards as though they had flash.
-3: Tap or untap all permanents controlled by target player.
-8: Exile the top seven cards of your library. You may cast nonland cards exiled this way without paying their mana cost.
Stanis, Scornful Lord :1mana::symw::symb:
Planeswalker — Stanis (M)
Starting Loyalty: 3
0: Each opponent loses 2 life, put loyalty counters on stanis equal to the amount of life lost.
-3: Return target creature from a graveyard to the battlefield under your control.
-9: Each opponent sacrifices each creature they control then discards their hand.
Oneria's second ability feels abit too white to me but the planeswalker doesn't seem to broken.
Stanis feels far to powerful. 3 mana reanimate with no other cost seems abit too powerful. It's +ability would be fine if it wasn't for the fact that it's going to be +2. I think that if you reduce it's starting loyalty to 2, you will end up with a much more balanced walker. It will be a T4 reanimate, and T7 ultimate. Finally, You should change it's first ability to be "+2: each/target opponent loses 2 life." As is, with none of my suggestions, in a 4 man game, you get a T4 ultimate which is way too strong. So here are the changes I think should be made to stanis...
1. reduce starting loyalty to 2
2. change 1st ability to read "+2: each opponent loses 2 life"
Even with those changes, this planeswalker might be far too powerful.

Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.

Besides the power level and non whiteness of Stanis, my main issue with these cards are they don't really feel like cohesive designs or characters. Both are walkers that do an assortment of things in their colors that don't seemingly synergize or express an overall style and strategy. They feel kind of slapped together. Walkers usually have an overall theme beyond doing whatever possible in their colors, and these cards are missing that.
Wow, bra-oken. Turnabout should never be a walker ability. Stannis should cost at least 5 or 6. I like Stannis' plus, it's novel, however it scales too quickly in multiplayer.
Ok thank you for the comments
I've changed stanis' ability to not scale in multiplayer and made all his abilities more white.
Changed the -3 ability of Oneria to only effect up to 5 permanents so you can't just untap a dozen lands. Still allows for complete untap of lands after casting but is a bit of a waste as it just kills her.

Stanis needs to cost a bit more. I'd be tenatively comfortable with him at cmc 4.
Storm Crow is strictly worse than Seacoast Drake.
Just something to consider.
