List looks nice. How are you finding the bloodghasts? Purely theorycrafting: it feels that they can be pretty underwhelming unless you get more than 2 out at a time.
How has 4x raven's crime working out for you? Do you think cutting 1 for an extra abrupt decay to be a good choice?
I've been running a very similar list to yours for several months now. I have tried getting advice over in the DredgeVine thread but I usually get overlooked because I'm not dredging enough/going deep enough on Vengevine. This list just can't stop winning though. Just straight up value on creatures that refuse to stay dead. It's really solid. Here's my list:
I get the synergy you're going for with Blood Scrivener, but Bob will always get you two cards. If you are looking to trigger Vengevine consistently, Bob will get you there regardless of the cards in your hand.
Loam with Raven's Crime is definitely a brutal combo but I don't think you need a full set of it along with a full set of Thoughtseize. Maybe drop it down to 2?
I'd highly recommend trying out Putrid Leech in your list. It's another zambie for Gravecrawler and is a 2cmc 4/4. It's a bit suicidal but he has won a ton of games for me. I'm a big fan.
I love the deck's ability to drop a ton of power into play super fast. Lotleth Troll is such a powerhouse here. T1 Deathrite, into T2 Troll plus any combination of recursive creatures is dumb. I had a game just last week where turn 2 I had Deathrite, Troll, 2 Vengevine, and Gravecrawler in play. Even though that's probably as close to a God-hand as this deck is going to get, average hands are still really strong. T1 Gravecrawler into T2 Putrid Leech is a quick clock. Especially when protected by some hand disruption and spot removal.
How has the self-mill stuff been treating you? I tried to avoid it because I feel it dilutes the aggro plan a bit too much but I think the small amount that you've got going on is enough to be relevant but not overbearing enough to dilute your aggressiveness.
I've never been a fan of more than 3 Liliana. I want to see her every game but any more than 2 and they turn into wasted cards. Three has always been a solid number for me.
Updated List:
Deathrite got banned. So I'm slotting in BoP until I can find something better.
Jund, Living End, BW Tokens, Soul Sister, White Weenie, UWx control variants, and a handful of different brews. I think the only thing that gives me trouble is Bogle with an early Daybreak Coronet. I haven't played it against Tron though but I can't imagine that'd be tough barring a turn 3 Wurmcoil. Though with a Liliana, that wouldn't be too bad...
Anyways, I don't think Undying is necessarily where you want to be with the deck. Outside of Strangleroot Geist and maybe Geralf's Messenger there aren't a ton of relevant Undying creatures. To keep Gravecrawler active, you'll want a certain number of Zombies. So with Vengevine, Bob, Bloodghast and Deathrite being key non-Zombie cards, the other creature slots should be Zombies to keep the count up. Technically, Goyf would probably be better than Putrid Leech in that slot but the Zombie typing is the main reason I don't run Goyf. If you wanted to stretch out the curve a bit you could get Messengers in there, but having a 3cmc creature, makes it harder to cast it and another creature on the same turn to trigger your Vengevines. Not that Messenger wouldn't be worth it, as it's a solid creature on its own, just that it isn't quite as synergistic.
