I've found Sad Hyp to be very effective even with just one or two activations. It all boils down to knowing who you need to target. Don't forget that with priority rulings that as soon as he etbs you regain priority, so your opponents can't pop him before you get a chance to use him. If you're worried about this, just use his ability before you do anything else.

You could also use an altar. Phyrexian Altar or Ashnod's Altar would be pretty sweet, but since most of your spells are black I'd go with Phyrexian.
And, if you ask me, no monoblack reanimator deck is complete without Attrition, unless your meta is mostly full of black duders that is.

Yeah that's why I don't run Attrition. I'd like to use Mind Slash or Sadistic Hypnotist, but both work sorcery speed :I
Puppeteer Clique is already in the deck, but I think I'll test adding Corpse Dance and Ashnod's Altar since I have extra copies of both somewhere.
