I saw this at my local store, and since I haven't seen it posted yet...
Oros, the Avenger
3WBR
Legendary Creature - Dragon
6/6
Flying
When Oros, the Avenger deals combat damage to a player, you may pay 2W. If you do, Oros, the Avenger deals 3 damage to all non-white creatures.
The art is similar to the speculated WBR one (the one with black skin, red jaw and white body, not the golden one), but in a different pose, probably due to the prerelease alternate art.
Sounds believable I guess. I'm starting to really fear the idea of Dragonstorm being in the format. Thanks for the contribution if this pans out to be real.
Hooray another new account with info that no one else has! Card is believable for sure but I think we should take this as a small possibility until he gets the card and scans it.
They're really pulling out the stops for the pre-release cards, aren't they? Lotus Bloom, now this...we've come a long way since Feral Throwback...though it is odd that it doesn't showcase a new mechanic...

I'm a kleptomaniac, but don't worry, I'm taking something.
"games people play - dice, cards...what are they but quick methods of wasting a man's money, and sending him straight off to become a thief?"
though it is odd that it doesn't showcase a new mechanic...
Its happened before. I remember when Ryusei the Falling Star was first leaked as the pre-release card people couldn't figure out why it was the pre-release card. A pre-release card usually shows off a mechanic, but sometimes it shows off an important theme or cycle.
My question is why did your store have pre-release cards? Its way too early for stores to get the release event promos and I highly doubt this would be it anyways.
It sounds believable enough, the card looks doable.

Theres another guy who said this would be the card. So most likely its probably true.
The casual player and the spike are raging inside me. I have doubts about this card but it seems powerful. Except for the colors, why did it have to be those. (Though this does make sense, red=damage, black=non-color, white=maybe just a tack on)

:symu:blue rocks!!! what else has more restricted cards in vinatage and in evrey vintage decks.
Not bad, his ability is pretty powerful, athought I wouldn't predict him any career beyond Standard. These fatties are simply too slow to find their use.

Whenever enchanted land becomes tapped, everyone goes WHHEEE
your mom uses the stack
Someday all lands will be controlled by all players and all creatures will be equal.
In my country we have a brand of orange juice concentrate called "Oros", though the animated character on the advertising is an orange-coloured Michelin Man instead of a dragon. Guess the "mix with 3 parts water" is the 2W activation cost. "Glass of dragon juice, anyone? Oh, kill your team, btw."
Juice Dragon ftw!

I thought this guy would create, 1/1 flyer tokens, but i guess i was wrong.
I'm not so excited about this Dragon cycle, but i gues this guy is very strong in limited.
EDIT> I'd love to see a scan of the card/alternate art.
Yeah it's an alternate for this art, it's facing towards the right. Can't get a scan of it, it's the store's promo, still wrapped in the plastic. Don't have a camera to take a photo either.
ahhh just had to be a creature. i liked it being the lotus bloom last time. we need more artifact or day i say instant, enchantment, sorcerty or dare i say it ... land prerelease cards

yeah the art does make it look like he creates tokens, though It was the same with the hellkite, and the white birds flying past and nothing but them shows off how he doent harm white creatures.

Unlike the blue/green/red one (which has absolutely nothing red about it), this strikes me as a great design. White is the color of mass removal. Black is the color of "skewed" removal ("nonblack", Plage Wind). Red is the color of damage. Fits like a glove.
Looks great! Not as constructed playable as Lotus Bloom, but a bomb nonetheless. Good way to sweep the board of other weenies. It goes without saying that it's "good game" in Limited. It probably won't see play in WBR Firemane Control, though, and that's the only deck that uses that color combo.

Thanks for the heads up.
Per the usual way of doing things, we like to wait on scans for the Prere cards before swinging one way or the other.
The thing about this dragon's ability is that it is both on-color (Basically a wrath of god that is nerfed), but not at the same time.
The Blue (/Green/Black) dragon has a rather blue ability, so its rather strange to me.

The dragons use a main color for then 2 supporting colors that influence its ability. For example:
Blue has the ability to play instants and sorceries for free (or from the top of your libary) but the ability of this dragon includes lands, creatures, and all other permanents. Why have it expanded like that? Because green and black allow it to happen thats why.
This card actually reflects that concept on the dragons having a based color ability being expanded by its other colors.

I would have to agree with you, actually, I would rather have it as the 1/1 then the 3 damage...

Edit: this showcases the new dragon cycle in the set nicely so I wouldn't be surprised at seeing it as the new prerelease card.
Dragons are fun, and Dragon throwbacks are even better
Theres another guy who said this would be the card. So most likely its probably true.
Is there anyone that can confirm it 100%?
Just to add more examples from recent times, neither Gleancrawler nor Avatar of Discord showcased any of the guilds' mechanics.
At least Gleancrawler showcased hybrid mana.
Juice Dragon ftw!
