Lackey is still in beta right now, but it works pretty well. And it is the best way to play Magic on the Mac (and on windows too in my opinion).
Here is the Lackey Magic Plugin site: http://www.angelfire.com/funky/magiclackey/index.html To install Lackey, just download the latest version from http://www.lackeyccg.com/downloads.html And go into Preferences->Plugin and in the field next to Update from URL, type either http://www.angelfire.com/funky/magic...updatelist.txt or http://www.angelfire.com/funky/magic...updatelist.txt (depending if you want the medium or large version). Then hit the Update from URL and Lackey will then download the needed files. When its done, hit the Load Plugin button at the top of the window and Lackey will close. When you relaunch it, the Magic plugin should be loaded. For more information about Lackey, check out the site at http://www.lackeyccg.com |

how many players did you find online when you connect to a server?

I've got this program, and like it quite a great deal. Fun fun times. The best thing about it, is that it's a visual program, and that it comes with a built-in deck editor, allowing you to make decks and play them on the fly.
Oh, and I tend not to see many folks when I log on to servers. Most people don't know about it.

I tried the program and it looks OK, the playboard is very nice, and deckbuilding is about as easy as in MWS.
Unfortunately, there are really few people on the server, so I haven't been able to play online yet (I've only tried twice, tho). Because of that I can't say anything about it being less/more buggy than MWS, even though it never crashed on me. I really hope more people start using it.

Well a new version just went up today. Might have something to do with it.
I have it running now, but when I try to run the autoupdater for plugin with the correct URL, I get "ERROR: can't find local autoupdate file." |

K the creator resolved the issue for me. Don't open up the update list partially in web browser and then back out, or your cache will be messed.
