Deal three damage to target creature. Clash with an opponent. If you win it deals three damage to that creature's controller. (Each clashing player reveals the top card of his or her library then puts that card on the top or bottom. A player wins if his or her card had a higher converted mana cost)

I like the clash concept of a 'minigame'. But at this point 'clash' itself is becoming boring; it's always 'highest converted mana cost'. Why not do some different 'win conditions' (like lowest, or closest to number 3) and locations like sideboard... (which can be interesting; will you reveal a card that could potentially give information away?) or hand (which is nice with manipulation cards).
So the clash mechanic seems like it is a bit narrow and boring, even though the 'minigame' concept should be used more often.
The fearie ... 3/3 flying flash for 4 is pretty decent. The added ability is 'okay', but not amazing.
Incinerate with scry 1 and a possible free entwine? Sign me the hell up.
Thats what I thought at first, but then I thought about it. Your going to play this in an aggro deck for the most part. Against heavy control decks they aren't going to have many creatures for you to burn, but you will. Secondly, your probably going to have a hell of a time winning a clash against a control deck since they tend pack cards that are 3-4cc+, and you, as a mana efficient aggro deck wont.
However, I still think its a good card, and its definitely going to see play, especially as limited common removal (man, this+fodder launcher, 4RB, 7 damage to your opponents head and two dead creatures.)
As for Wyrdwen, I am still a little cautious. She seems completly mediocre at first. However, she does have shades of parentage by the Ghost Council, which most of us underestimated at first.
Pros (against The Ghost Council)
Flash
Fly
Only two colored mana in cost.
Only 1 life to rescue.
Cons (against The Ghost Council)
Smaller (think Rift Bolt, Incinerate, Lash Out)
Harder to pay rescue (UB instead of 1)
Only 1 life to rescue (no sacrifice tricks)
Returned to hand, not blinked from play.
I'm going to reserve judgment on her until we see more cards.
Edit: @Cruz, didn't notice that. Thats how they wrote it on the site, and I'm imagining they designed it in English first so I doubt its a mistranslation. Could be a mistype, but I doubt it. If not, that means no damage redirection or prevention, isn't that right? Not super important, but a nice add on at least.
Edit2: @Wario:
I actually think the faerie is a 3/1, as far as i can see. it also said something along those lines in the inquest cards thread, about faeries having toughness one. correct me if i'm wrong please. oh, and the incinerate is 1st pick
It looks like you weren't around for Ravnica (and Guildpact specifically) rumor season. Giant Solifuge was multiple different powers and toughness' over the course of something like two weeks. We got that from a blurry scan. A lot of 3's and 1's were being tossed around, I wouldn't trust the scan image.

How fun is it to be an evil cousin?!?:evillol::evillol:
I like both, and I'm hoping we see Clash on a couple more cards in this set. If the effects they have are very good, it could be the birth of a new deck type in Extended with Divining Top.
As for the fairy, I think she's good as well. The fragile body means nothing if you have the mana to pay for the bounce. She's a solid blocker in that case... and biting someone for 3 a turn is never bad.
Clash is good. First pick limited material, not sure about constructed since you can't hit players outright, but might shine there too.
The fairy is horrible. Sure, it has flash and all, but a 3/3 for 2UB? You should be getting something better for that investment. Moroii is better and saw no play. Point is, U/B does not need critters like this when it has houses like Aeon chronicler, Korlash, Tendrils, Teferi and Damnation.

the point is its an extremly powerful limited card
Hmmn, it sounds fun, but. Clash will run out of design space pretty quickly with those parameters. But then, it sounds fun enough. Fairie is nice. They are both pretty obv. limited fodder though. Great for me (the limited player).

Upon further inspection through photoshop, i have determined that the fairy is a 1/1, but there is another rule/ability line underneath her bounce ability, perhaps her CIP effect or tribal effect? She may very well end up being a counterspell with wings, and if thats the case, she'll be a real bomb. Someone try to find out what the last line reads please
The burn doesn't affect players (ie, nor does it affect planeswalkers) and the faerie is a legendary 3/3 for 4 multicoloured mana, with no useful abilities. Assuming the info is accurate, neither will end up in any of my decks. Oh well!
Well, I'm not going to comment on the power level of these cards, since it seems like some photoshop sleuthing is in order. Still, Lash Out really looks like it's 2R, which is a much more reasonable cost, IMO.
Clash looks like a great mechanic. Specifically, it's rewarding decks that run higher CMC's, but not in a way that's useless to those that don't. There may be too much of a Kaboom! factor to the mechanic, meaning that serious players will stay away from it. If Lash Out is evidence, though clash will be a contender. I like mechanics that reward you for playing with probabilities like clash does.
(I also thought Stitch in Time was going to be a contender, so what does that say about me? Probably just that I'm a statistician.)
The smaller font on the Fey's last line of text indicates flavor text to me. Could this card really be printed as is with only a 1/1 p/t? The card is awful if that last line is flavor text.
Lash Out is okay. I thought 1R was a little too strong, but then again 2R doesn't seem too strong.
The fact that red decks are generally packing 4 Gargadon makes it a scary card.

It looks like a 1/1 to me, as well. If there was a CIP ability, wouldn't it be listed above the bounce ability?
Is there any chance that the activated ability returns a faerie to its owner's hand instead of the legend itself? Or possibly the legend along with any other faeries you control? Or, perhaps the second ability is something like "Whenever ~ is returned to your hand from play, return a faerie you control to its owner's hand."? It would make sense that the tribe's legend would help out the rest of the tribe. Also, faeries apparently have a theme of CIP abilities. Then again, the giant legend doesn't have any tribe-specific abilities.

Is WAY better than Moroii. Being able to appear and disappear at instant speed is HUGE! Not to mention that like Vesner, Mystical Teachings can fetch this thing directly. Honestly? U/B control just got its 1-slot darling that can jump when they sweep the board with Damnation. The only thing that CAN hit it effectively is Sudden Death.
Edit: If it is a 1/1, I'm jumping off a bridge because of the poster's inability to read numbers. Let alone get a cleaner image.
