YAY, Serra Avatar is back! Kinda. Well, I definitely like it and it has great synergy with itself (much like Lilliana and her discarding (creatures) to bring back). 2WW for 5 loyalty and 2 life seems pretty competitive too.

He's super un-interactive. He gains YOU life, he pumps YOUR creatures, and so on. And the first and last abilities have a lot of synergy. Also, vigilance helps you protect your life total (and his loyalty points), so that's not bad.

Also, he's not very loyal. Kinda odd.

Not sure I'd bother putting him into a deck, but in limited if I was already in white I'd probably take it for the lifegain.

wow thats a pretty nice limited card to crack, hmm every turn i get to attack with +1/+1 and vigilance....yah thats right try to attack my planeswalker, all my guys will be ready to engage!

This + Beacon of Immortality or Martyr = Goodness. I kinda like this one, but I wished it kinda gave you an Ivory Mask effect, since that was rotated. At least it costs 4.

Have that, in white decks that specialize in gaining life you could be putting something gigantic into play turn 6. Ajani is wicked i love the flavor of his abilities. Even gaining 2 life is nothing to sniff at. Awesome sign me up. Once again big up to Brother Hydro.

His final ability isn't quite as gamebreaking as Lilliana or Chandra's. Better than Garruk, though. x.-

I do have fond memories of Serra Avatar though. Seems to me like Martyr of Sands has a new best friend... but they'll have to find a new way to recur them with the Proclomation gone.

Yeah, sick card in limited! Kinda like the honden (white one) but better as u can use it to help ur army or plonk a 10/10 into play to bash the opponent. Not too expensive either...

think of if you have the time to keep here alive long enough that she can pump out the token and still have 1 loyalty, so that token get's +2/+2 every turn.. nice. built in Marshalling Cry seems good,

This is not bad, but strangely designed. The first and third ability is better suited to control strategies while the second is aggro. Anyway, I would not play this outside limited, but it's still nice I guess. The whole PW hype somehow failed to live up to expectations. Serves us right, going berserk trying to guess what R&D will do...
