Default [LOR] Goldmeadow Stalwart from Kartefakt

From the german magazine "Kartefakt":

Unverzagter Goldwiesler
Kreatur - Kithkin, Soldat (UC)
Zeige als zusätzliche Kosten, um den Unverzagten Goldwiesler zu spielen, eine Kithkinkarte von deiner Hand offen vor oder bezahle .
2/2

Translates as:

Goldmeadow Stalwart

Creature - Kithkin Soldier (unc)
As an additional cost to play ~this~, reveal a Kithkin card from your hand or pay .
2/2

Edit: After looking at the tribe poster from mtg.com, this should be Goldmeadow Stalwart.

Simply amazing! A nonlegendary hound for Kithkin - way to push tribes!

Conditional Isamaru? Very interesting... The playability of this card will be conditional to the playability of other Kithkin, and for this card to come down cheap reliably, there will need to be at least 3 more playable Kithkin with low costs...

the fact that its not legendary makes it a four-of in a possible kithkin build. i agree that it does require some other buddies to really shine though...still quite good.

Well, from what we know we can put this guy and Gaddock each 4 times in a deck.
Maybe the G/W land will have the Kithkin Subtype
Yay white weenie, yay uncommon weenie.

Edit: I found more cards for a WW with kithkin

Militia's Pride
Surge of Thoughtweft
Kithkin Daggerdare

That might be 24 good Kithkin cards in your deck.

It's a kithkin itself... So you can reveal another Goldmeadow Stalwart...

Okay, this card gives me a 2nd strong reason to play Kithkin(the other is Gaddock Teeg), if you have the other Kithkin it's a Isamaru, Hound of Konda without the legendary drawback, great stuff. Good find Masked_Legend.

You can also reveal a Kithkin Tribal card, which makes it pretty easy to cast. This is constructed viable if there are more playable Kithkin creatures and/or Tribal cards.
Kithkin got 2 decent 1-drops (this and Goldmeadow Harrier, which handles all walls, tarmogoyfs and more) and 1 decent 2-drop now, and if you're playing green for Teeg anyway, you can also play Tarmogoyf as another decent 2-drop. "GW-Kithkin-Weenie" might become a very fast deck.

A conditional but non-legendary Isamaru and at uncommon. I like this. Forces you to play tribal, which I'm not too fond of, but gives you a pretty strong tool if you do. I like this whole cycle, the only problem is that they're very bad late game and as topdecks.

@Zombie Machine: Well, actually, they are just as bad to topdeck as, for example, Savannah Lions. Sure it might be annoying sometimes, but more often than not you just dont care and pay 3W because it is the only thing to play right now.
I like it.

This whole cycle seems a tad overpowered... My question is, will anything besides aggro be playable come states?

Is that you, Isamaru?

Nice 4-of for a one drop! The fact that you can reveal it with itself to make it an Isamaru is great. If there's at least another Kithkin out there that'll be good for Aggro, I think we have some new WW cards...

This is a great card that will shape the standard environment for the year to come. It also makes good use of a new design space so overall - good job Wizards!
