The Magic Coffeehouse was founded on April 19, 2006, by Arguas2617 and Omna15. It is an overclan that promotes friendly, spam-free discussion on a multitude of topics, while providing a comfortable circle of friends.
To join up with the Coffeehouse, merely post something about yourself that you’d like everyone to share, and perhaps talk about. We don’t like to make anyone feel isolated, as we are just looking for good friends tied together by the common thread of Magic. You can also post requests for drafts forming or start various other groupings of your choosing. Anyone can be a casual customer, but to be a Regular you must come around often, chat clearly and avoid spamming. We don't consider spam conversation, so join us for the real thing!

Shadowfox's Homemade Truffles! Arguas' Omelettes You should have:
Eggs
Frying Pan
Butter/something non-sticky for the pan
Heat Source (We'll use a range in this example)
Mixing Bowl (doesn't need to be huge)
Fork/Egg Beater
Spatula
Toppings (Suggestions include sausage, ham, bacon bits, cheese, spinach, broccoli flores)
Instructions
Set your cooking range to the lower end of the Medium setting.
Crack open 2 eggs into the mixing bowl, allowing the yolk and as much of the plasma as possible to flow into the bowl.
Rotate the fork or the beater to spread out the yolks of the egg until you have a fine yellow liquid.
Once the frying pan is warm, pour out the contents of the egg from the mixing bowl onto the frying pan. Try as hard as possible not to let it spread out too far unless you have a circular frying pan. Should that be the case, let it spread out in a circular fashion to the ends.
While the underside of the omelette cooks, apply your toppings to the side of the omelette which is not finished cooking. While you spread out the toppings, most often the Omelette will have successfully cooked at this point.
Use your spatula to fold the two sides of the omelette together upon itself, or if it is circular flip over one side of it onto the other, effectively folding it in half. Let it cook and then flip it over to the other side.
Press the omelette down a bit, letting some of the excess juices flow, and then cook.
Use the spatula to remove the omelette and serve.
SnoopDoggAtog (Starr)'s:
CANADIAN TERIYAKI TOFU
4 cups snow peas
4 cups cubed white button mushrooms or whole tiny button shrooms
4 cups chopped yellow onion
3-4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 8-oz extra firm tofu steaks, cubed and cubes rolled in flour spice mix
Toasted sesame seeds
Flour spice mix
1 cup wheat or corn flour
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp dried basil
Pinch salt
1/4 cup vegetable oil
CANADIAN TERIYAKI SAUCE
1 tbsp (LOL 10 ml) maple syrup
1 tbsp (LOL 10 ml) rice vinegar or red wine vinegar
3 tbsp (LOL 30 ml) soy sauce
Pinch ground ginger
Pinch red chile powder
COOKING:
Heat vegetable oil in 16" wide or larger wok or deep skillet until a bit of onion dropped in starts sizzling briskly right away.
Add tofu, onion, garlic; stir fry for 1-2 minutes on high heat.
Add mushroom; stir fry for 5-10 minutes or until onions are translucent and mushrooms are starting to soften and brown.
Add snow peas and stir fry for 5-10 more minutes. Pods should be glistening and softly springy, but still green.
Pour in Canadian teriyaki sauce, stir, lower heat to medium, simmer for 5-10 more minutes or until mixture starts to become dry and cooked, whichever is first.
Salt to taste.
Remove from heat, garnish with toasted sesame seeds, and serve over steamed rice or with soba. 6-8 servings.
Photon's Almond-Crusted Parmesan Chicken
First of all, you'll need enough chicken breast to provide each person with a good 3 or 4 strips. I usually go with about 1 large chicken breast per person. You'll want to cut each breast (once thawed) up into equally sized strips of about an inch of thickness. Also, another alternative is to use chicken tenderloins. If you go with this option, I would suggest about 3-4 strips per person, depending on the relative size of your pieces.
Then, combine 1 part finely crushed almonds with 1 part grated parmesan cheese. I usually use between a cup and a cup and a half, if forced to measure. Season this mixture with a dash of sea salt (you only really need a tiny bit here, since the cheese has a lot of salt in it), and some freshly ground pepper.
Gently beat together two eggs and a fourth of a cup (give or take a little) of water together to form an eggwash. Dip your chicken in the egg, and then coat both sides evenly in the cheese-almond mixture. Place on a non-stick baking sheet, and then bake for about 15 minutes in a 425 degree oven. You'll want to keep an eye on it so that your almonds don't burn- burnt almonds have an awful taste and it will ruin the dish entirely. When finished, the coating should be crispy and slightly golden.
Garnish with slivered almonds and some fresh cilantro.
Dreia's Recipes: Crab Meat and Cheese (Ragoons) Ingredients: 8 ounces, softened 4 green onions, chopped or diced 1 can crab meat 2 teaspoons minced garlic 25 wonton wrappers (small bowl of water)
You’ll need a medium mixing bowl and a frying pan or deep fryer.
Directions: Combine cream cheese, green onions, crab meat, and garlic. Spoon some of the mixture onto a wonton wrapper. Dab water around the edges of the wrapper. Place another wrapper on top, and seal against the water. Fry until golden brown. Remove from frying and let set on paper towels for a minute or two to cool.
Note: My friend fries hers in a pan, but when I made them we put them in a deep fryer basket. I cooked them for a little bit, then flipped them over and cooked until golden brown.
Wonton Appetizer Ingredients: 8 ounces cheddar or Colby jack cheese, shredded 8 ounces pepper jack cheese, shredded 1 cup ranch dressing 1 pound breakfast sausage 35 Wonton wrappers
You’ll need a medium bowl, frying pan, muffin pan, and a cookie sheet.
Directions: Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook and drain sausage. While cooking the sausage, take wonton wrappers and push them into the muffin shape of the muffin pan. Bake in the oven just long enough the shape will set (about 5 minutes). Remove from muffin pan and place on the cookie sheet. Combine the cheeses, dressing, and sausage in a medium bowl. Place the mixture into the formed wonton wrappers on the cookie sheet. Once the cookie sheet is full, or you have enough for what you need, bake them until the cheese is all melted.
Chicken Spaghetti Ingredients: 4-5 Chicken breasts, cut into pieces 12-16 ounces spaghetti noodles, cooked and cut into small pieces 16 ounces sour cream 1 (10¾ ounce) can cream of mushroom soup 1 (10¾ ounce) can cream of chicken soup 8 ounces Velveeta cheese, cubed 12-24 ounces cheese shredded (Colby jack or medium cheddar is yummy) Mushrooms, optional Season to taste (oregano, salt, pepper)
You’ll need a kettle to cook the chicken in, a kettle for noodles, a large bowl, and a 9”x13” pan.
Directions: Preheat oven to 350°F. Boil chicken until fully cooked and drain. Season the chicken after bowling for stronger taste. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. Spread into pan and bake.
Note: I used elbow macaroni and it worked quite well.
Shrimp or Chicken Alfredo Ingredients: 8 large shrimp, peeled and cleaned, or 2 chicken breasts 1½ teaspoons olive oil ¼ teaspoon oregano 1 clove garlic, chopped ¾ cup heavy cream ¾ cup parmesan cheese 7 ounces linguine noodles, cooked and drained 1 egg yolk, beaten Salt and pepper 1 teaspoon parsley chopped Lemon wedge and chopped parsley, optional garnish
You’ll need a dish for marinating, a kettle for noodles, and a skillet.
Directions: Marinate meat in oil, oregano, and garlic for 30 minutes. Remove meat and sauté in skilled over medium heat (for shrimp, just until tails curl and flash turns pink). Season it lightly with salt and pepper. Add heavy cream, cheese, and linguine. Simmer about 3 minutes, whisking constantly. When meat is fully cooked, whisk in egg yolk and parsley. Remove from heat and serve immediately. Garnish if you choose.
Notes: Noodles in one pan and sauce in another works best. Then pour sauce over pasta and toss together.
Monster Cookies
Mix until smooth:
12 eggs
4 cups white sugar
1 tablespoon corn syrup
3 pounds peanut butter
2 pounds brown sugar
8 teaspoons baking soda
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 pound butter (cannot use oleo/margarine)
Stir in until mixed well:
18 cups oatmeal
1 pound chocolate chips (mixture of other varieties works well too-my preference is butterscotch, chocolate, and white chocolate)
1 pound M&M's (plain/politically correct milk chocolate works best, because peanut are too big)
Use ice cream scoop to scoop cookies onto cookie sheet. Flatten before baking. Bake at 350F to desired consistency (chewy or crunchy). Approximately 12-15 minutes. Do not overbake.
Note: A half batch is enough to fill two large Tupperware containers. A full batch makes about 60 (5" diameter)cookies.
Mamelon's Sweet & Spicy Rice
I started with my basic recipe for caramelized rice, which is as follows:
1-2 tbsp butter
1-2 tbsp sugar
1 pinch salt
1 cup rice
1-2 cups water
I add the butter to a large metal cooking pot. Then (very important) you let the butter cook until it turns brown. Add the sugar and salt, then add the rice and coat with butter. Then add enough water to cover the rice.
To this, I added:
1 tsp dill seeds
1 tsp sweet paprika
1 tsp cinammon powder
1 tsp dried oregano
several grinds of fresh black pepper
Add these together with the butter. When the rice and water is combined and comes to a boil, add:
1/4 cup good red wine
Bring to a boil, then simmer on low flame/low heat for 10-12 minutes. When the water is absorbed properly, add:
1/2 cup milk
1 tbsp horseradish sauce or 1 tsp ground horseradish
1/4 cup frozen or fresh peas
Let the milk simmer and condense, then add:
1/4 cup your choice of rice vinegar, balsamic vinegar, red wine or sherry vinegar, italian dressing, dijon dressing, or other acid-based dressing
Additional vegetables, like onions, would also be welcome, as would ground ginger and curry powder.
Mamelon's Honey & Nut Glazed Chicken
I started with
4 small chicken tenderloins
But one or two chicken breasts, or other type of chicken meat, would also be fine. Some other type of meat would probably also be good with this dish.
I made a brine out of 1 part salt, 1 part vinegar, and 2 parts water, and let the chicken soak in it for a half hour (or more). Afterwards, dice or chop chicken and add to a hot pan with butter or your choice of oil. After the chicken has some color on the outer side, add:
2-3 tbsps of your choice of good wine or vinegar
1-2 pinches of salt
several grinds black pepper
2-3 tbsps honey
1/3 cup shelled peanuts (or other similar nut/legume of your choice)
Bring the liquid to a boil, then reduce heat and let the chicken cook. Before it's done, you may add, at your option, any combination of:
1 tbsp barbecue sauce
several dashes of worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp mustard
1 tbsp peanut butter
You want the liquid to reduce quite a bit, but it's best to allow some of it to remain to form a sauce.
Mamelon's Breadcrumb Stuffed Mushrooms
I started with seven smallish, toad-stool lookin' mushrooms, but other kinds of mushrooms would be very good choices. Remove the mushrooms stems.
Then I prepared breadcrumbs by toasting wheat bread and curmbling it (should make about a cup) but any other type of bread, premade breadcrumbs, or panko would work, too.
I combined breadcrumbs with 2 tbsps melted butter, 1/2 tsp rosemary, a dash of salt, and a few grinds of black pepper. Combine with hands until flavors permeate.
Fill the cavity in each mushroom with breadcrumb mixture until they are overfull. Sprinkle remaining crumbs over the mushrooms.
Mine only took about 10 minutes on 350 to roast and make the crumbs golden, but you may need to adjust cooking time for larger mushrooms and if you make more at a time.

wow, I finally stumble on to one of these thread while it's still recently new, so I'll make an introduction:
I'm Charm_Master, your average low-level Magic player, closet otaku, and random gaming college kid. I like the fact that we have a place that doesn't get spammed a ton (on another forum I go to, almsot every thread degenerates into something from 4chan) and I've checked a few of the older threads. I know I'm new-ish here, but I'll try to be a productive member.
Right now, the Pokemon games are making a comeback here, one of the RA's in my dorm found out that there are about 20-25 people who own the game, so we're having a huge pokemon tournament this coming sunday. it's gonna be very interesting, to be honest.
so...hopefully I won't get auto-banned?

Huzzah for the new thread! I've been semi-busy playing WoW lately, along with having no breaks from work. I took off yesterday not only to actually *get* a break, but to take my step-mother to her eye surgery appointment. Nothing major; the actual process took less than 2 minutes, but we had to wait for an hour or 2 to actually get it done. I knew I should have brought my DS....
I'd stay and chat longer, but I have to start getting ready for work. Bye!
Danica: Why am I still on the casual customer's list? I was MIA for 6 weeks not by my own choice :(. Look, I even have a post on the first page.
EDIT: Where's my manners, eh?[/canadian bad manners] Hello Charm_Master, I've never seen you before :sneaky:. What's this about "finding the thread when it's new?" You can come in at any time here ;).
Because I have nothing better to chit-chat about... allow me to tell the tale of my FNM last week:
With Ravnica rotating out soon, I wanted to give a chance for my favorite underplayed card to have a last hurrah. I was determined to make a deck with Grave-Shell Scarab that could work. My last attempt failed miserably. Mana base was too shaky, removal was wrong, curve was wrong. In short, my previous deck using him was a pile of strong cards that played like jank together. My new attempt:
Here's how it plays. The manabase is primarily green (I probably could get away with all forests and only one swamp and plains for the basics) with mana fixing coming from the duals and Gemstone Mine. Birds of Paradise and Farseek both fix and accelerate my mana, which is perfect because hitting 4-5 mana quickly is critical as is having at least one black and one white mana available. I was rarely hurting for mana and using the duals as 1-ofs along with Farseek worked perfectly (which is a good thing since I only own one of each).
Once I have some mana on the board, I can open with a fast threat from Hierarch or Call. Even Blind Hunter is surprisingly good on turn 3 since it can almost always either trade with or fly over anything my opponent has played at that point. More often than not I got nothing out of haunt and I never cared. If I'm not in a position to be agressive, I can stall with Terror, Damnation, and blockers. Harmonize keeps my hand full of answers. Scarabs and Calls make sure I can easily recover from my own Damnations, which is really fun in conjuction with Terror because you're *ahem* damned if you do and damned if you don't. Play one or two threats? I'll gladly 1-1 them with Terror. Overwhelm my fatties with your own army. Damnation. Hold back a fatty to recover with while playing lots of threats? Damnation, then Terror. It's beautiful.
Hierarch, Blind Hunter, and the Warhammer all provided enough life to beat the aggro race and Warhammer doubles as a stalemate breaker in case my Hierarchs and Scarabs where met with chump blocking tokens or regenerators. Teneb is there as a scary curve-top threat in case the board is stalled and is loads of fun against Firemane Angel or grandeured Korlashes or even just to recur my own Heirachs. Interestingly, though, I never even played him. I might just end up dropping him for a fourth Harmonize and Damnation.
So how did I do?
Round 1: Bye. Grrrrr... I took it, but it irritated me. I wanted to play! 2-0
Round 2: Versus white weenie. He was playing efficient and irritating creatures like Knight of the Holy Nimbus, Whitemane Lion, and Aven Riftwatcher. My removal kept him in check, my lifegain helped me survive the initial rush, and he didn't have answers to my fat threats. 4-0
Round 3: Versus Loam/Seismic Assault.
Game 1: He opens with Flagstones into a cycled Edge of Autumn. I roll my eyes at the Tarmogyf sure to come, but then smile smugly at the Terror in my hand. A couple turns of mana plays from both of us end with an elephant token on my side courtesy of Call. He Lightning Helixes it. He follows up with a Mystic Enforcer. It already has threshold. I look at the Terror in my hand and curse it for not being a Damnation. Thankfully a Damnation does come but I'm held off by a second and third Enforcer (which nullify my Warhammered Scarabs but wouldn't be able to outrace me in a damage war) while he searches for his Loam/Seismic Assault engine. He gets it online and I have no answer. This game took over a 1/2 hour to finish. 4-1
Game 2: I take out Terror and Damnation and bring in Faith's Fetters and Tormod's Crypt. I later learn he has brought in Ancient Grudge against my Warhammers and Tarmgoyf. Happily, I never waste a draw on a Warhammer.
The opening plays look similar. We both get mana on the table, I lay a threat or two, he Helixes them. He lays a non-threshold Enforcer, forcing me to stop attacking. Next turn, he swings then lays another Enforcer. I Fetters it and attack. Next turn, he swings again, now with threshold, and plays Tarmgoyf. I Fetters it and attack. Next turn he swings again and plays another Enforcer. I Harmonize into another Fetters (yes, he drew three Enforcers, I drew three Fetters) and attack. I Crypt his 'yard. At around 6 life with only one blocker and no Loam engine, and me with a Hierarch, Scarab, and Blind Hunter on the table and plenty of life, he scoops. 5-1
Game 3: I side out the Warhammers and Teneb to bring back Damnation and Terror now that he has Goyfs to throw at me. At this point we've already gotten the two-minute warning and have only 2 or three turns before time is called. No way is either of our decks in a position to win that fast. We spend a couple turns putting mana out, he gets his Loam-Flagstones engine in the graveyard. I Crypt it and lay a Scarab on the table. He's completely stalled at this point but the game is called after one attack from the Scarab. We draw. I show him a hand of two Damnations and two Terrors. I would have friggin' steamrolled his ass if I just had five more minutes.
So I ended up in 3rd (with him in 2nd since I had the bye). Overall I was quite pleased with how the deck performed and am looking forward to playing it again. Some changes I would make:
I thought Crime // Punishment would be cute against Firemane and weenie/token. I never played against either, but Crypt and Teneb are both better answers to Firemane than Crime and Damnation is more efficient than Punishment, especially since I don't really care if my board dies as long as I've got a Scarab and/or Calls to recover with. I'll probably ditch Teneb like I said before. I also realized that Sudden Death isn't necessary against Teferi; what I really need are some Quagnoths.
So that's it. I hope someone other than me found it entertaining.
Well, I have quite a packed weekend ahead of me. I am going out on a double-date with some friends, and a prospective girlfriend Friday night. We're planning on catching dinner at red Robin, and going to see the new Resident Evil movie afterwords.
After that, I will head to a camp-out with the scout troop. It's the districts big get together camp out, so everyone in the Blue Elk district will be there. It's basically a huge camp for the first year scouts to learn the ropes of scouting and get to know the older scouts. This will go from Friday night till noon on Sunday.
Then, on Sunday evening, I'll be going to a friend's house for another friend's birthday celebration.
@Alacar: it's Charm Master, not Monster. I'll take a crack at coloring Jhoira, though.
@Kraj: You need to read more of matrix, and look at my sig and nice job at the Rav finale FNM (there's supposed to be a card shop around here, can't find it...) at least I get to go back home for the lorwyn release...

I had a long post ready, but my scroll button ate it (how does that even work?! My scroll button sent me back 3 pages?). Regardless, I want to welcome Charm Master to the thread. I remember making a sig for you in the past. I hope you enjoy your stay here.
AotW seems to be missing Tokyo Mew Mew, the one I put up the night we all had that big Skype conversation. I'll have to dig it out of the other thread. It also needs updated with... the last two weeks worth of AotW that I haven't done. I blame it on being busy with other things (like the new season of Fall anime, Tsubasacon, preparing for Japan, etc).
Alacar, I can color that image for ya, but I need to get a few other things done first (AotW and FLCL's banner, hint hint).
Good to hear from you, Yukora! Sounds like you'll have fun. You should stop in more often.
And, from the last thread, sorry to hear about the separation, Kraj. Reminds me of when I heard about my grandparents getting divoriced after more than 30 or 40 years of marriage. It's beyond me why something would come up after that long, but... anyway, I hope they're able to make it through ok, regardless of how things turn out.
Lastly, congrats to Danica and Jun on getting the theses completed. Good job, guys!
I, like FLCL, am awaiting my tournament opponent. My deck is, quite frankly, terrible, but I like the concept and I have fun playing it, which is what counts.
@LD:
Yeah, I'm lurking, hehe. Sounds like you're doing well.
Well, I just had a lovely little chat with Tanthalas, whose microphone and headset is working just fine. Seems you can't trust Skype on everything. Good to talk to you, Tanth
And now, to eat dinner with the family and play some card games and stuff. After all, 6 days until my dad leaves for Iraq.. we should cherish the time we have, ya?
Thanks for working on the image Mr. Stuff, take your time.
Hey alacar, what script is that? I see a different sig image deal every time I see your posts. That's pretty damn awesome. And also, how does one get an extended signature?
Blargh. I always miss new threads. But I'm okay with the title.
Welcome, Charm_Master, to the coffeehouse. Hope you like it here =)
Typing is kind of annoying for me right now because my right hand is healing up after being burned on the frickin' crock pot the other day. One of those "nerve damage for hours OMG it won't stop burning" kind of wounds. It feels good today, but it's blistering, so yeah.
At least the thumb got out unscathed. I can still game ^___^;;
Speaking of which, I found a number of rare tracks by Hiroki Kikuta (think Seiken Densetsu and Koudelka), and they're...interesting to say the least. I'm guessing this was a solo album. It sounds very...eighties.
And Alacar's beaten me to the one bit of news I could have brought to the new thread. Yep, my Skype is apparently working fine, which is great news - well, except it means people will get to hear my voice. No longer will people think of me as a manly colossus, bestriding the world of masculinity like some sort of god.
Heh, I'm afraid the same fate has befallen me as well. I'd like to continue on, convincing people that I sound like Mel Gibson or something, but no.
Whenever I imagine you speaking, Tanth, I always hear Alexis Denisof. I seriously don't know why, either O_o;;
@Itinerant Soldier: How about words of well wishing until your health returns?
I meant I had no other words at the time but those words from people will do fine. I'm doing a bit better though right now. I guess it's one of those stupid colds that phases in and out of existance... I hate those.

OK Zeus....
In honor of our new Charm Master and our ole' Mr. Stuff, I present a t-shirt that sounds like it fits...
So... round one of the tournament. My horribly rogue, jank, awful deck that was thrown together just based on cards I liked in the last few hours before registration faces an (I'm assuming) net deck with multi-lands, and other cards that I can't disclose to keep things fair, but are tournament-worthy cards with high price tags. I win 2-0. Wha-huh?! What went wrong? I honestly don't know, but... I'm happy, regardless. I keep telling myself that my deck shouldn't win, and it failed miserably in most testing I did. It is fun though. Oh so much fun. And in the first round it randomly goes 2-0. *headscratch*

Awesome. Soon we will conquer the world via Skype! *evil laugh* Update your profile for us, yo, so you'll get the icon under your name. I don't have your Skype name to add you.

I'm sorry, but that just struck me as hilarious, being perfect for you. What you went through ( and still are going through) sounds terrible, but at least you're (apparently) well enough to joke about it. Don't game too hard.

You know, the scary thing is I started thinking about whether I had enough money to get it the moment I saw that. With the move to Japan, I need to save, or I'd already have ordered it.

Heat Source (We'll use a range in this example)
Mixing Bowl (doesn't need to be huge)
Fork/Egg Beater
Spatula
Toppings (Suggestions include sausage, ham, bacon bits, cheese, spinach, broccoli flores)
Instructions
Dreia's Recipes:
Crab Meat and Cheese (Ragoons)
Ingredients:
8 ounces, softened
4 green onions, chopped or diced
1 can crab meat
2 teaspoons minced garlic
25 wonton wrappers
(small bowl of water)
You’ll need a medium mixing bowl and a frying pan or deep fryer.
Directions:
Combine cream cheese, green onions, crab meat, and garlic.
Wonton Appetizer
Ingredients:
8 ounces cheddar or Colby jack cheese, shredded
8 ounces pepper jack cheese, shredded
1 cup ranch dressing
1 pound breakfast sausage
35 Wonton wrappers
You’ll need a medium bowl, frying pan, muffin pan, and a cookie sheet.
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Chicken Spaghetti
Ingredients:
4-5 Chicken breasts, cut into pieces
12-16 ounces spaghetti noodles, cooked and cut into small pieces
16 ounces sour cream
1 (10¾ ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1 (10¾ ounce) can cream of chicken soup
8 ounces Velveeta cheese, cubed
12-24 ounces cheese shredded (Colby jack or medium cheddar is yummy)
Mushrooms, optional
Season to taste (oregano, salt, pepper)
You’ll need a kettle to cook the chicken in, a kettle for noodles, a large bowl, and a 9”x13” pan.
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Boil chicken until fully cooked and drain. Season the chicken after bowling for stronger taste. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. Spread into pan and bake.
Note: I used elbow macaroni and it worked quite well.
Shrimp or Chicken Alfredo
Ingredients:
8 large shrimp, peeled and cleaned, or 2 chicken breasts
1½ teaspoons olive oil
¼ teaspoon oregano
1 clove garlic, chopped
¾ cup heavy cream
¾ cup parmesan cheese
7 ounces linguine noodles, cooked and drained
1 egg yolk, beaten
Salt and pepper
1 teaspoon parsley chopped
Lemon wedge and chopped parsley, optional garnish
You’ll need a dish for marinating, a kettle for noodles, and a skillet.
Directions:
Marinate meat in oil, oregano, and garlic for 30 minutes.

Nice.
I'd stay and chat longer, but I have to start getting ready for work. Bye!
Windmills do not work that way!
EDIT: Where's my manners, eh?[/canadian bad manners] Hello Charm_Master, I've never seen you before :sneaky:. What's this about "finding the thread when it's new?" You can come in at any time here ;).
Okay.. I need someone.. anyone.. who is willing to wrestle with photoshop and color this image? Please?

Because I have nothing better to chit-chat about... allow me to tell the tale of my FNM last week:
With Ravnica rotating out soon, I wanted to give a chance for my favorite underplayed card to have a last hurrah. I was determined to make a deck with Grave-Shell Scarab that could work. My last attempt failed miserably. Mana base was too shaky, removal was wrong, curve was wrong. In short, my previous deck using him was a pile of strong cards that played like jank together. My new attempt:
4 Grave-Shell Scarab
4 Loxodon Hierarch
4 Birds of Paradise
4 Blind Hunter
2 Teneb, the Harvester
Spells
4 Call of the Herd
4 Farseek
4 Terror
2 Loxodon Warhammer
3 Harmonize
3 Damnation
1 Godless Shrine
1 Overgrown Tomb
1 Temple Garden
4 Gemstone Mine
1 Plains
4 Swamp
10 Forest
4 Faith's Fetters
3 Crime // Punishment
4 Sudden Death
4 Tormod's Crypt

She knows why.
Looks like it will be fun.
I find it interesting how the last thread managed to be closed on response 3,333. Congratulations on closing on such a number

How'd I get taken off the regulars list? Blasphemy I say, blasphemy!
Anyways, I've had a boring week, how have you all been?
the new name is iffy but i guess it will grow on me
im waiting for my match (queue anticipation song)
Weee....Pizza day at work. Awesome. Did not have to pack a lunch, we got free Pizza.
@LD:
Yeah, I'm lurking, hehe. Sounds like you're doing well.
And now, to eat dinner with the family and play some card games and stuff. After all, 6 days until my dad leaves for Iraq.. we should cherish the time we have, ya?
Thanks for working on the image Mr. Stuff, take your time.

At least the thumb got out unscathed. I can still game ^___^;;
Speaking of which, I found a number of rare tracks by Hiroki Kikuta (think Seiken Densetsu and Koudelka), and they're...interesting to say the least. I'm guessing this was a solo album. It sounds very...eighties.
Heh, I'm afraid the same fate has befallen me as well. I'd like to continue on, convincing people that I sound like Mel Gibson or something, but no.
Whenever I imagine you speaking, Tanth, I always hear Alexis Denisof. I seriously don't know why, either O_o;;
