I'd like to maybe host the occasional tournament with my friends, what is a good program to do swiss pairings, tie breakers, cut to top 8, etc? I wanted the official Wizards one, but apparently you have to have some sort of privilege to obtain that? If I'm incorrect there, please do point me in the right direction.
So basically, I'm looking for software that works just like DCI Reporter. Thanks in advance, Ryan

Awesome, thanks a lot man.
I don't see why Wizards doesn't just release a free, non-sanctioned version of the software on their site. It's handy stuff for private tournaments, like a birthday sealed tournament.

I just now saw this thread; I woulda pointed you in the right direction but obviously bradlyjx is on the ball.
Yeah, I found that site months ago and our group uses it for all of our casual events; it's about a million times easier and more fun than using pen and paper. I agree; it would be nice if WotC made an "unofficial" version available for casual use. Heck, I would have even paid 10-20 bucks for it. If you want any sound files for the clock feature (e.g., "20 minutes until the end of the round"), let me know! |

I'm kinda interested in that program. But I get a "This Page Cannot Be Found" error. Can anyone help me?

www.cooperjr.name/DCI_Judge_Resources I think something messed up with the linking or something. Also you can download DCI reporter v3 from Wizards if you are a tournament organizer. The test to be a TO is cake. |
