Only because that would be really weird, cause headaches, and allow you to be little more than a saboteur that cannot win the game. Essentially, vote "no" on everyone's proposal. Note that you don't get a turn because turn order is Mutable 201 which is killed by Immutable 114. |

Jedit asked me what I was expecting from Nomic. After giving it some thought, I think I was expecting something more like this.
Incidentally, I'd vote for a rule like the following: 3XX. Any player who forfeits or otherwise withdraws from the game shall have the lines declaring his intent to play removed from the appropriate post in the registration thread by a moderator as soon as is convenient. Hm... I might have to address it on my next turn. Unless someone fixes the simul turn rule. |

So is this the end of this nomic? It doesn't end with a win but instead just dies due to lack of intrest. Wow, how boring. Unless the nomic in question is completely different, at this point I'm not really that interested in playing another one.
I personally think it would be pretty cool to play a nomic monopoly (or simular game) though. Perhaps that wouldn't die so easily.

Getting any kind of regular participation out of people at this time of year is difficult. Assuming people come back after Christmas (and I think they will) a short hiatus might not hurt.

We're worried about the turns being too time consuming, and you ask if we want to introduce a rule that will make the problem ten times worse?

I see now, at least in my opinion, that quick turns are not necessary. I understand that at the beginning of the game everyone was anxious to get their turn and move the game along. I now feel a slower, longer game may be beneficial. I personally don't want anyone to win anytime soon, and would be quite content with a game that goes on indefinitely.
On another note, does anyone think we should vote via PM? |

Anybody have any ideas about color based rules yet? I'm currently working on few that include the colors, but also define a "base" for individual players, and "open areas" to be occupied by all. Both with benifits and down sides...
I'm also thinking about shaking up the mod involvement a bit. This one though, could get tricky. |
