1) WhammWhamme - Cho Mamma
Fountain of Cho
Purity
Oblivion Ring
It's cute. Too slow, but cute. Also, flying stag FTW!
2) Halin - Forgotten ban = tech
Dryad Arbor
Force of Will
Snapback
Not so good this round; threat diversity was valued, and this deck loses to diversity.
3) The Mad Tapper - She's my angel
Black Lotus
Channel
Platinum Angel
Didn't lose to much, and beat the "best deck" of the round. A nice 'all in' card.
4) Chimpanzee - Drawing is for artists
Mishra's Workshop
Steel Golem
Wheel of Torture
This deck is just nasty. I wonder if Wheel is too good in the basic format... it's been on the watch list for a while, and being "forced" to play Workshop to play it is no real cost, since Workshop is at it's best when playing two threats anyway.
5) Wrath_of_DoG - Anti-Magus Again
Mana Crypt
Isochron Scepter
Lightning Helix
Ouch. No Maguses at all, the Workshop decks win the race easily against the Mana Crypt build, and so many decks could just outright elimate your ability to win.
This list can be used for PoTM, since there were absolutely no draws...
Watch list:
Wheel of Torture Oblivion Ring Dread

All ante cards Any card that forces your opponent to discard more than 1 card a turn. Any non-mass-produced card (Proposal, 1996 World Champion, etc.) Unglued Unhinged
Banned Decks: *Any deck that can feasibly force your opponent to discard more than 1 card a turn. (The word force here is important. Mind Bomb is still legal, unless combined with Mindslaver ) (NOTE: Remove-From-Hand effects count as discarding) *Any deck that can feasibly win on the first turn. (i.e. no matter who goes first, your deck cannot goldfish before the start of their second turn)
The Next Tournament The next tournament starts right now and will be tabulated on the closing day. PM your submissions to me by Sunday, December 2 at midnight PST and results will be posted at some point thereafter.
