Default [MOR] Inspired Sprite (Rumored)

Inspired Sprite 3u
Creature-Faerie Wizard Unc
Flash
Flying
Whenever you play a wizard spell, you may untap inspired Sprite.
T: Draw a card, then discard a card.
2/2

I seem to remember seeing someone worried by the lack of Fae with Flash.
It's looking like a busy weekend

(and i'm never going to complain about being called a faker again)

Wow, interesting, and I thought tap abilities are for merfolks only... But this card just stole merfolk looters spot with an additional effect plus flash...

Interesting. A bit to expensive for the constructed faerie decks that also only run Spellstutter and Mistbind as Wizards, but VERY VERY good in limited.

Swing 2, loot seems awfully good in limited. Flash is just extra creme filling

At last a decent, playable faerie in a counterfaerie deck. The faerie-with-prowl deck is a completely different option that could be played in a UBR deck faerie/goblin in bloc. Elsewhere... wait & see.

Interesting. He's got a lot going on. 2/2 evasion, looting... flash. Should be interesting to see in limited, I'll let the people who play constructed evaluate it for that.

Thanks, IM!

i think that happens to be me ..'the one who is worried about the spoiled faeries so far not having flash'

seems good. think of playing inspired sprites ability..then countering a spell with spellstutter and untapping the inspired sprite and playing its ability again. looks fine. probably will be a contender for that 4 mana spot ( with sower, mistbind, garbinger and wydwen )

I doubt you'll get called one again (unless you snap and start posting fakes) We've established that you know people who see things a little early.

Not a bad card, either. Depending on how wizard-y morningtide gets, I might just draft the crap out of these.

Jank in constructed, at least for U/B Faeries. The 4-drop slot is already crowded and this can't compete with what we already have.

Agreed! I’m currently playing U/B Faeries and I wouldn’t change this for either Mistbind and Sower (which I already don’t play). At 4cc you have 8 cards, 4 x Mistbind Clique and 4 x Cryptic Comman and that’s about all this deck can handle.

What we really need is a good 1cc or 2cc Faerie. I love Oona’s Prowler but not only can your opponent discard a card to make it a 1/1, many times discarding a card doesn’t hurt them. Spellstutter is nice as well but unless your playing 8 1cc faeries, it’s more just a flying flash creature than a counterspell.

I am going to love this guy in limited. Multiple looter effects in a turn = win.

Plus Spellstutter and Sower are the only Wizards that deck plays - this is clearly designed for a different type of deck. It's good for its cost, but that's often not enough. Wizards noted when FS came out that cards with this draw/discard effect almost always see play - except that the FS one didn't, and Merfolk Looter doesn't in X. This could be a card to keep an eye on, but it doesn't fit a current deck. Nice to see that control strategies seem to be getting more support, though.

with the U/B faeries that i'm running, I'm not really too impressed with this one. Too expensive for my taste. *constructed*

Limited though, yea i'd pick 'em in a draft.
